Is there such an animal?I've been on this earth for nigh on 70 years and I've never met one.Could someone enlighten me?All I hear from them is jealousy and a nasty envy that permeates their very soul.

There’s a huge difference between someone like Vespa and the extremely wet lettuces that have spent the last two years making themselves look more and more ridiculous by the week.

well if by leftie you mean the younger people in university then yes they are incredibly irritating. they have zero common sense on anything and just believe that the world and everyone in it is awesome (unless it's something on the right, or donald trump).
my missus is in an art uni and whenever i have to go there all i see are the most irritating people ever, they're all marxist, communist or anarchist, take your pick which one they are as they all choose to identify as one. they also have a weird sexuality too like ... demisexual which means they only sleep with people they have an emotional attraction too which somehow is apparently worthy of being a completely different sexuality than the standard 3 we've grown to understand. there's also greysexual, pansexual, trisexual and a whole host of others.

they dress like they've jumped in barney the dinosaur's ass and climbed out of his mouth too which always confuses me, why wear black and white striped tights and big thick army boots with a pair of dungarees? makes absolutely no sense. they're also willing to argue about ANYTHING, if you mention you're a tory (like i am) then instantly they ask you why YOU supported the bombing in syria/iraq and ask how you sleep at night given the recent cuts to various services like i'm the one who ordered all of this stuff. they also love gender neutral conversations, they don't like hearing the words he or she (unless someone specifically asks to be called that) as to them gender is nothing but a social construct designed to oppress us. also, things like white male privilege exist, black lives matter being a great fair group, islam being a religion of peace and modern feminism being great etc are things that all exist to them. they are absolutely nuts.

i'm genuinely not making this stuff up either, i have no issue with labour supporters or people like that as their views on politics are just as valid as mine, they actually have a brain but simply believe in different policies and have a different outlook on life to mine. but the typical young art university student are mentally ill and have absolutely no idea about the world other than watching linda sarsour videos or reading feminist blogs, they are nuts. they will only ever read one side of a story (normally something from the young turks or similar) and will never ever read or believe any statistics or trustworthy unbiased news outlets unless it agrees with their points. in their eyes, what you feel and your emotions are more important than facts.

a good 90% of the fellas i went to college with didn't have a clue about anything but skunk god help anyone that gives any of them a job

FWIW Robin Cook was a good man. Had Blair listened, the whole horrible mess might have been avoided. John Smith had the reputation of being a really decent bloke. Both of them sadly no longer with us. Bevan, who gave the nation the NHS - which you might have used occasionally - was a passionate socialist and respected by all political parties. Prior to people him many people were still doffing the cap to the master.

Personally, I think the whole concept of binary politics is about 150 years out of date, and not suited to the challenges of the world we live in, but unfortunately we're still stuck with it.

Which illustrates the danger of stereotyping I suppose.I just wish the gentlemen of the Left would follow suit and not hysterically denigrate those whose "proclivities" don't match their own.I've never encountered such polarity and vituperative behaviour in my life.(good word that vituperative innit)
