Incredible how that boof head keeps getting these jobs.
I actually think he might do a half decent job at Saints. Well run club that will ensure he spends wisely. Also a pretty decent squad that just hasn't been firing under Pellegrino. I think they are a far better side than the league position suggests.
Let's not forget, before things went sour at Stoke, Hughes had 4 successful years there. I don't see why he can't do well with Southampton who have a better squad and more resources at their disposal.
Probably get shot down for this won't I? Saying anything at all positive about Mark Hughes on here is pretty ill advised I think!
Serious question, if they did go down, would we want to try and buy back Austin? 2 months ago and this was a definite yes (if we could afford it). Now I don't know
