  • Robots will have taken over the world by the end of the century.

    According to James Lovelock.

    It's possible.

Fracking is great, the green movement is a religion, his dire predictions about climate change were nonsense – and robots don’t mind the heat, so what does it matter anyway? At 97, the creator of Gaia theory is as mischievous and subversive as ever

100% agree and we're already well on the way. We're getting exposed to it ever so slowly as technology advances. We won't suddenly wake up one day and have robots all around so it wont feel like a drastic change.

I for one, welcome our future robot overlords

I don't think they will take over in the sense of we have no control, but I do think the amount of jobs they will take will mean basic income will be compulsory . It will provide lots of opportunities for people who are interested in machine learning and Ai. Machine learning is our immediate future, which will automate a great portion of work in some sectors.

I think me 92 year old nan may be a robot plant.

PS well spotted Lone, your nan is in fact a robot plant. They're everywhere. They're taking over.

Peter Beagrie is definitely a robot.
No human can retain such a rigid facial expression and monotone voice whilst talking.
