Without wishing to encourage this type of behaviour, of course!...

...basically, the idea behind creating the 'slug-it-out' threads is for when squabbling on the main QPR board gets to the stage where it hijacks the thread and drags it too far off-topic. These rows usually take place between 2 or 3 posters, so when this happens the offending posts would get moved into their own 'slug-out' thread here in the SlugFest section. The posters in question would then be free to continue 'slugging it out' to their heart's content, whilst onlookers would also be free to either join in, or just be entertained by it from the sidelines.

Threads will be added to the section as and when they arise...

If using some creative and good-natured humour to help take the heat out of ill-natured flaming/rows, then hopefully it can reduce the need for warnings and bans which are always a much less preferable option.

Before going through a mediator WeAre, have you attempted resolving things with him amicably via PM? I usually find that's the most effective way in such cases.
