We've got a bunch of Cup Finals ahead of is the next 6 weeks or so, they looked poor today but now the FA Cup distraction is gone! Hughes has got to be reminded of what a huge task lays ahead of him and some of the poor quality he has to work with! He may be a tad more desperate in the transfer market!

Okay, if MH's tactics was to trot about, miss-place every pass and hoof it up front then fair play, it worked a treat, but I doubt it was....where was the 'local derby' passion, hunger, desire to win - from both sides may I add? I don't care if they cost £500million to assemble and us £500, I expect some effort, you know, maybe some sweat?
First thing I'd do is get that lot straight to Specsavers as they are obviously blind, or to an eye specialist as they can't distinguish hoops from solid colours!

obvious the focus today was on simply keeping shape and taking absolutely no chances to keep it tight.....but with our lack of pace, inability to beat a player when the odd chance arises, very average midfield passing, and severe lack of a decent striker who can create "something from nothing" we are destined for a whole batch of tedious 1-0 defeats in the months to come.
Maybe the odd 0-0 with the new defenders coming in

Go on then, who are these great players we were missing bar the obvious 3 (AF, AT and AT)....DJ? JB? KD?...who?

Well. The defence is going to be improved beyond recognition next time we play. That will give us much more impetus from the back. Also, it's pretty obvious that SWP, who should be our main attacking player is pony..... When he's on the left at least. Once Traore gets back we may see him back on the right replacing the quite frankly inert Mackie...... Although I think that Mackie would make a good poacher up front.
Finally - I get the impression that Barton is playing for his job. Maybe that's just me........

We played sh1te today and should've got a draw, we played brilliant against City and got nothing, and all but thrashed Newcastle and only drew... what's your point?
We were woeful today, but we put it behind us and move on.
I do think they had in their mind not to get injured also, which probably didn't help.

Oh, and why can't MH be accountable for that performance? New Manager untouchable is he? Is he gonna read my posts and cry, run off - never to be seen again?....not likely....
That was aimed at 'TopLondonClub'....Last edited by theblackmafia.; 28-01-2012, 03:20 PM.
