The R's are in our blood but I honestly have almost no confidence in them as a team or, particularly after last week's starting line up, in Marti either. Injuries have been cruel to us but are clearly not to blame for all of our ills.
We DO have some decent players but I could never discern what plan A was, let alone plan B. IF we ever had a plan at all, it seemed to be try to still be in the game after 70 minutes and then let's give it a go.
The only result that I cannot see against Cardiff, is an easy home win. Apologies for my downward tone.

Defeat against either Cardiff or Oxford will drop us in it because both teams are not that far behind us. I suppose 1 win and 1 loss may be ok but certainly can't lose both. Yes there's a lot of teams in the mix but I thought I was going to avoid the annual finger nail destroying relegation fight this season.

For first 20mins against Stoke we appeared to be alternating between Smyth and Debele up front. Hmmmmm, I thought, a clever tactic to mess with Stoke's head. But, it got us nowhere and we seemed to revert to just Dembele as a lone isolated presence up front. Lord knows where Smyth went, it certainly wasn't anywhere near the wing though. Very strange set-up: one midget non-striker up front and no wingers. Made all the more galling by Stoke having a winger on both flanks running rings round us.

Anyway, we're all agreed that any repetition of that fiasco will see us royally thumped so you'd hope Marti will have a new plan tomoz.

Completely agree. Let's all just settle down. We've had a run of very tough fixtures however amongst that we drew and should have beaten top of the league Leeds. We're still in a very healthy position with plenty of teams below us so no need to press the panic button just yet. Plymouth are down and it's quite tight down there but we haven't become a bad side overnight. Today is a big game and a draw would do me but I fancy us to win today. Full house lovely weather let's just enjoy it. Next season with 17m plus for the eze deal which will happen in the summer and we could be looking at a promotion push. Just need a couple of strong additions and Marti could be lethal with the backing he deserves.
