They are on good form and will be favourites but no outcome would surprise me at all. If we play on the front foot from the beginning plenty capable of turning them over. We are under no pressure, not going up or down, so no reason we can't just have a real go at them.
They play with a level of pace, ferocity and nastiness that I fear we cannot live with - we're just too lightweight and "nice" for opponents like these. Given how they're in a 3-way tussle for 2 automatic promotion spots and every point AND goal could be vital for them, I fully expect them to be on full-throttle from the first whistle to the last. Yeah, they might have an off-day or "one of those days" but even then we'd have to be at our very best to scrape a draw.
I can't see anything other than a bruising comprehensive defeat I'm afraid.
We are so random in most of our matches but depends i think more on what kind of Sheffield side show up more than us. If they press us physically, hard, aggressive, take their chances early and sit back, we're in trouble. If we weather a storm or they're a bit off the pace, we get a chance to put something to them, opening the game up, could be a corker.
No idea who to start up front but will make a big difference. Again, would love to see Yang starting.
I don't think we're in flip flops stage just yet, still a point to prove and an very slim outside chance of either top 6 or relegation, until the maths says no it's still on.
Please no! Not him up front! He was God awful last time out, time for him to have a rest.
I hope we play Lloyd up top (assuming Kolli is still out injured?) I’d also like to see Morgan back in the starting line up, we have missed his energy, and perhaps Morrison in for Cook? He has made a few errors recently, maybe rest time for him too.
Draw might be the best outcome we can achieve in this game. Utd are a solid team,. Lots of pace going forward, and typically a very Wilder, tough and uncompromising team that work hard for each other and close down early.
Our only hope might be to get at them from the start, have a real go, Nick a goal and hopefully hang on in there. Get the crowd on our side and get our tight little stadium rocking!

Oddly I fancy us to turn them over get colback back in drop smyth for spurs kid hit them with pace ideally kolli be fit or Frey Lloyd looks like sub impact at mo
I think going to e a tough one for us especially after our performance last week, and what with them getting striped on Monday, lets hope we can keep this home form going. in the away game they blew us away in the first 30 mins Hamer and O'Hare tore us to bits will have to get hold of them, most of what good they do goes through them, lets be positive from the off,

Come on you Rrs!!!
C'mon, Frey bashing up their defence is one of our only weapons. They will be taking turns to boot and crunch Saito/Smyth/Dembele out of the game. Lloyd is too naive and innocent and will get in a state over all the hair-pulling, nipple tweaking, elbows to ribs and treading on toes etc and end up lashing out and getting sent off.
Frey will be in his element in this game and very able to get under the skin of their thug defence and provoke one of them into punching him and getting sent off. Beauty of Frey is he simply cannot be wound up or intimidated - he must start.
Lovely day for it. Worth starting Frey with orders to get involved and show some physical strength. Although having watched him a lot l do think he shys off from getting involved sometimes. A point today would be good. Hope Saito doesn’t get bullied but it’s a man’s game so he has to deal with it. Even with recent results we are still a decent side and no push over. Let’s get behind them today as that will make a difference.
Yes, looks likely to be a battle. Please Marti, start with the line up most ready for such a game. Frey and Colback come into that category.
Try to play "nice" football, and that could be an error of judgement. My personal rant "never play Paal" still stands! But all 3 results are possible. Good luck lads.
Frey doesn't shy away when the ball comes into him. The way to get that happening is to have Saito and Yang being unpredictable on the wings, that'll create space and opportunity for him and Chair. I do think we should start with Colback.
Notice Chair is on Ramadan, he usually gets tired in the second half when that's happening so there could well be a plan to change him in place.
Rest of the best first 11 seems pretty nailed on and available.
It's all about the opening minutes, can't let Sheff get into a position where they can score and sit back. Have to force them to be open.
