I’d have Yang on right Lloyd down left and Koki in 10
smyth lasts 65-70 then done but he’s runa marathon by then, chair not match for imo offered little lately
get Morgan back in side maybe for field he was poor other night and let Brazil lad have a run at some point paal just not good enough

Can't see Marti being brave enough to put Koki number 10, he's very effective on the wing also. Smyth doesn't deserve to be dropped but feel like we need some different energy on that side with Frey in the middle. His asset is getting in there and being rough, snatching at chances, hold up play, set pieces. Not running into gaps or taking players on, need to creat some more chaos and feel Yang could do that from what little i've seen, Smyth very effective as a sub and a rest may do him good.
Still not sure how to solve number 10.
I don't think Paal deserves the hate. His set pieces are poor, but just have someone else take them, Koki should. His actual game play isn't that bad, he just needs help the way we are setup. He created our very best chance against Coventry and we really should have taken it. We should be looking to improve that role but wouldn't drop him for an unkown while we're still a mathemtaical possibility to be in danger. Give the Brzil kid a run is 5 games to play nothing to play for territory surely.

Annoying he got to experience an away game under lights at LR just over a week or go, presume he'd have identified areas of weakness to exploit in our current set-up.... possibly even more reason to shuffle our stuttering pack? Thing is, at least 15 players always get on the pitch so I can't see point in worrying about starting 11 or viewing changes to it as "dropping" a player - maybe its better to have tricky/slippy players like Chair and Saito come on later against fatigued defences?
Dunno if Derby have changed but they were a poor team at their place back in October. They defeated us by dint of hard work and plugging away manfully whilst we were in the middle of that phase of nonsense walking football and therefore easy pickings. We had Madsen and Andersen (the Danish Cheech & Chong?) starting that day...... explains a lot in hindsight.

Only one id dig out is Paal but he created our only real chance just gets beat too easy imo and too often. Smyth and Field only really to give them a break and tbh we look more solid with Morgan field varane as the three but field will always be field and has odd goal in him
No 10 is chairs position really suits him made for him and sold be him but he's been crap since coming back but again you get a world quality cross followed up by a load of pony
I like Saito is he a 10 probably not the Korean lad yang more suited after chair imo
Fancy us to get three points though getting to the business end of the season and bottom will beat top

Was a little microcosm of Jack on Tuesday of him instructing Smyth exactly where to position himself in a holding/protecting position for a corner or free-kick of ours. It broke down, Cov burst onto the attack but Smyth was able to get across and stop the break.
I have it in my head that Cov would not have got the late break and corner on Tuesday if Jack were on the field marshaling things. His football intelligence is next level - we have no one else like him.
