Sorry gates that was me that started it. If they come calling I'll be signing up to the Canadian military. No wonder him and Putin are mates, they have the same mental mindsets

Although I am glad to see that our league form and league position have turned around, I have to say that I am absolutely horrified by this shocking result and feel sorry for the denied hopeful fans who made the journey to witness this humiliation. I just hope that there is no psychological damage done now by this beating-up from these worthy prem relegation candidates that were simply a galaxy beyond us. No excuses.

But to be far there were some positives. A great assist and goal from Kolli who showed real composure. And a sweet strike from Varane too.
Madsen didn't stand out for me...did he do okay and I missed it?

Bournemouth are close to doing the same to WBA.
The gulf is massive and how can our £5-12k a week plsyers compete with these teams. I would be suprised if any Leicester player out there today was on less than £80k a week. Our players earn their average £8k a week for a reason, not bad luck.
A cup run is nice, but once you draw a prem team away its near impossible. We scored two lovely gosls so we should take the positive, take out £100k share and concentrate on what our season is about.

Don't let's get too down. Everyone knows the huge gulf between even the bottom of the Premiership and the top of the Championship - and we are not that. I think we are going the right way. Let's keep our ambitions reasonable for now. I see a lot of positives recently.

Like everyone else, I am embaressed by the result. I expected a defeat, but not of this proportion. Most mentioned the gap between the Premier and the Championship however, Plymouth won at Brentford so it is not the case! It is more a case of every game has its own story and in this case ... a terrifying one.

Of course it's a going to be tough, but we are competitive in the championship right now. It might fall away but equally it might continue.
Yes, we would get stuffed in the prem and I think we're a few seasons away (decade?) from doing a Brentford or Bournemouth. My aspirations are to get in the prem, take the £150m and use it to be a consistantly top 10 club in the championship.
I love the championship where we have a chance of being a decent club. The prem now is a circus on my opinion.

Now lets stuff Plymouth next Sat and see how far we can climb up the championship table.

Scoreline was a bit of a kick in the teeth. I thought Walsh should have done better, but he's been somewhat thrown in the deep end, and he was good in the league cup, so I'll let him off.
Ashby had a shocker, which is a shame as I thought he was starting to show progress of late.
I still think we were good going forward at times.
We're always crap in the cup, so it's no surprise we've gone out early.
Concentrate on the excitement of finishing mid table instead.
