Saw a stat recently saying Sam Field has had the lowest total of touches of players that played 90mins in the last three games, although Anderson looks past it he’s added something extra going forward today.
Playing Varane as the holding player and Field being more advanced leaves us short of passing ability in MF imo.

Field can be frustrating but he is our most effective defensive midfielder by miles with Colback out.

Playing him deeper with Madsen, Varane and others running off is our best option I think.

When Field comes off we look very fragile - today he committed key tackles and fouls to break up their counter attacks. Without him they could run through us.

Maybe a touch harsh, but he watched it go out when he could easily have played it , and protested instead of getting back in position.

The goal was scored from in front on the back four where he should have been to make the block.

Just stupid football - was Field injured or were they worried about a red card? I would have left him on. We have been awful since he was taken off.

Agreed Shaggy, can't really complain after that second half where Norwich really came out to play.
Dunne did well at center back, was nervous about him being there but he was a rock.

No shots on target yet we get a score draw, I'll take it but I really felt we would steal all three in another nervy ending!

Never nice to concede so late in a game, but they missed better opportunities and it was coming.

Decent away draw when we offered very little from an attacking perspective.

Messing around on the touchline instead of putting it up field cost us the goal, would of accepted a draw before the game.
