Well ....why did we not play like that in the first half ? They wouldn't have scored 3 had we played our full strength team from the start.

Luckily our living room blinds got into a knotted state and fell off so I was summoned by Mrs to get ladder and fix it. I therefore missed the entire second half so cannot comment on it but I can see we at least drew the 2nd half 0-0......

The club should refund all the Rangers fans that went today, that was up there if not the worst ever display by a Rangers team. I know a lot on here rate Cifuentes but in my opinion he needs to go , i will not watch us again until he changes the style of football or until we sack him. He is the most negative manager we've had since Paulo Sousa , just putting eleven men in your own half trying not concede is #### , even at 3-0 down he didn't change until half time. I still think there is a good chance we will get relegated , any three from us Oxford, Plymouth, Pompey and Cardiff. If Cook is out for a long period we are in deep trouble , our defence was embarrasing today. We desperately need new players in Jan and a new manager.

I guess not a time to over react. We have been really good lately. Swansea worthy winners but they are dead average I feel. This league is very tough but the quality of what is on offer is pretty low, throughout the division. On any given day it seems anybody can beat anybody else. Maybe rose coloured glasses on my part but when we were in the old 3rd division, under Alec Stock, the football and entertainment seems miles better. I guess it's the fault of money and the PL. Virtually all the players on the PL benches would make up another (better) Championship.

After going for seven games unbeaten, I was expecting the usual QPR anti-climax. It is so normal for us! I do wonder if the statement from the CEO just on Christmas Day is to do with this performance. No mention of offering new deals to nine players that will be free at the end of the season. Maybe its just me thinking this way!!

You have to consider that clubs will do their homework on us, work out our weaknesses and then exploit them. It's a movable feast, the 9-month season is a fluid and dynamic beast. Injuries, fatigue and suspensions will ebb and flow. Form and momentum will shift.

We got totally done on all fronts today. There is NO excuse for Marti or the players and they cannot be exempt from review or criticsm. Today was rubbish, December has generally been good, the season as a whole has been poor.

We move onto next game and endeavour to do better.

It is my opinion of Marti and his negative tactics , the man just sets us up poorly and with zero intent to attack , which is why we are always poor in the first half then end up chasing the game. You say 3 of the back 4 out, i do'nt think so. Cook was our only first choice centre half missing , even then Marti had a centre half playing right back in Dunne , a left back Fox playing centre half , then took Paal off and had a right back playing left back. The geezer is a bluffer and i will be glad when he is gone, sick of watching his boring football , even when we win or sneak a draw.

You could equally be describing Dunne. Swans clearly worked out that our full-backs are weak and set about them. At least Fox and Dunne have the excuse Full-Back is not their day job - I dunno how Paal can justify his general underperformance in what's supposed to be his specialist subject though. Maybe the preseason speculation about a move to Watford destabilised him?

We should of set up with Ashby at right back, Dunne right centre half, JCS left centre half and Paal at left back , then because our defence was weakened we should have pushed further up the pitch and not have given them so much possession then maybe we would'nt have been beaten after 30 mins. I understand we have a lot of injuries but the square pegs in round holes and negative tactics plus Marti not learning from his poor selections does my nut in. I took it as he thinks we need to strengthen in certain areas.

Seems strange to put someone who has lost pace into a full back position. Your 6ft plus guys who aren't very agile tend to be CBs for their aerial abilities. I can understand being on the left of a three with wing bscks, but playing left back in a four is crazy. He got roasted in that that home game when he was at fault for two goals.

You know about his backround than me, but based on your comments, I very much doubt if he'll be renewed in the summer
