Cooks performance goes to show what is needed in this league if you don't setup to your players strengths, grit, steel and effort.

We have to find a CF from somewhere in Jan Celar looks like he wouldn't score if he was out there on his own

Great result was expecting Burnley to get a goal but we defended well thought I would take a proper look at celer today and I thought he looks bad doesn't make himself available doesn't get up for the headers his timing of his runs is crap and his touch is awful apart from that think we got some player on our hands haha should of got Lloyd on a lot earlier he done OK when he came on at least he got involved

NATHAN Shepperd has joined QPR.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who comes to W12 having spent the second half of last season with Wycombe Wanderers, has arrived on a short-term deal.
Shepperd came through the youth system at Swansea City before joining Brentford’s B Team in the summer of 2019.
After two-and-a-half years at Griffin Park, Shepperd moved to Dundalk in January 2022 and spent 18 months with the League of Ireland side.
He was on the bench.....dunno why tho ?

Given we parked the bus and showed minimal attacking intent it was a strangely satisfying result. The amount of effort players put in was massive cos Burnley's pace and movement was pretty relentless.
Let's face it we were hanging on by our fingernails at times, but despite the multitude of threatening situations we faced, can't recall Nardi making anything other than a couple of routine saves.
We were reliant on a lot of last ditch blocks and luckily none deflected into a goal. 10 for effort, 9 for result and 1 for style and panache.

I thought Ashby and Koki gelled reasonably well too down that flank - a lot more fluid than Dunne and Smyth on the other side. I would happily see Ashby start games at LB.
