But the lack of cover on the left was just as criminal for that tap in.

There's really no harm in long balls out to the flanks if the wingers know it may be coming if we're in a defensive scrap. Not every long ball is a hoof if we know whats going down and we retain possession by putting it into planned areas.
Putting leather through the ball and wacking it yo field should be the exception.
If there's 75% pretty football and 25% long ball I really don't see the problem. Nobody is advocating the CB launching down field to cries of "CHARGE".....!!!

Madsen and Anderson in midfield
Santos in miller's pocket
Lack of creativity
No movement when we have the ball so ball usually goes back
No urgency to win the ball
Slow passing between the back 4.
These are the reasons we got spanked by hull city.

But if we use the little money we have on a striker who is nowhere near the player we thought we were getting then the club need to prepare for the fact that the paying supporters are going to lose their sh 1t at some point. Feel a bit sorry for madsen who had been thrown into a mish mash of a side. Celar just doesnt look like he got a clue. There's no way he's a natural finisher.
Bonne
Washington
Dykes best of last 3
Madsen would be fine if he had runners around him as he’s tidy pings a decent ball to inject pace sadly it goes out to smyth who’s shocking or santos well I’d stick him down as the worst Brazil football player ive seen
Hayden was ideal added power and calmness

I am not sure of the financial aspects but he was looking for a move to another Championship team after his loan at Preston!

Ok Dembele and i think Saito will improve but cant see us getting much at Derby were in the bloody drop zone yet again if results go against us
our only tactic is to faff about at the back close us down we buckle go behind simply far too easy to play against

Result is no surprise to me but I do think we looked a bit better than we were in recent shockers. We've got too many lightweight average players so Hull had the upper hand by dint of winning their individual match ups and duels. As many have said, our fullbacks looked really ropey compared to theirs. Still, at least I wasn't bored witless tonight and we've been done by a fluid, vibrant and enterprising Hull side who look cut-out for a top 6 finish.
It's too early to panic but we should realise that we are 3pts of the bottom spot and should we get embroiled in a relegation scrap we haven't got enough battlers to drag us out of it and would need to dump some lightweights in January and try and bring some seasoned Championship warhorses in.

Another disappointing result. Worries me that we still to keep a clean sheet or to win at home. We're missing Hayden in middle. Masden is no match to him. It is going to be another long season.

Second division Belguim & France must be L1 in comparison to the Championship. I expected a lot more from Celar, Andersen, Madsen, Varane and Santos.
After all the hype by new brooms talking about doing things differently its the same ol' shite.
How difficult is it to understand that this is a very physical league and you need a couple of warhorses in there who won't get pushed off the ball. Marti knows this league now and most of these newbies are just not up to it.
Is Madsen another Ben Gladwin????
