Needs to be a home win. Millwall are bang average. Match them at set pieces and we will be fine. Quick start and an early goal will put them under pressure. They haven't got the creativity to open teams up and we need to make sure we don't allow them to bully us on our own patch. 2 nil win for me.
This is a good game to benchmark where we’re currently at. Be great to see us on the front foot from the start & go in front. Don’t want another late late late show.
Marti's record at LR in league games is 7 wins from 17 matches - not that good. It's compounded by results like losing to Wednesday then beating Leeds. Given how poor Wall are, the trend suggests we won't win. Yeah, bulk of that record accrued last season but the recent failure to beat Plymouth worries me.... we need to be ruthless and clinical at home. Hopefully we will get after Millwall and play with intensity for 90 mins and pick up 3pts.
Totally agree that this is a massive game today which will play a huge impact on where this teams ambitions lie. I think it's a tough game and again I agree that it will be a physical game, I am concerned that Millwall will look to bully and disrupt the game to try and stop us playing. I think Frey, cook and colback are an important spine but I hope the rest also stand up to the roughness. Going to be a big test.
That's good. Think we deffo missed JCS these past games - need his calm assuredness at our base. I feel far more optimistic looking at that line-up plus the bench looks decent too.
Hoping Madsen turns up today physically this will se if he’s got the testicles for the championship right in his face needs to up his game and speed he moves ball
