The club need to pull their finger out sharpish as no chair = no creativity. Sign 2 wingers asap plus a midfielder who can run with the ball facing the opposition goal instead of passing sideways or back to the centre backs.

MC needs to get them to sort it asap or we will be playing catch up once again. No replacement for willock. Chair is weeks away and yet we are pinning our hopes on Smyth!!

hi.He was forever giving away possession last season and so far against decent opposition he just doesn't measure up for me
Anderson been poor all pre season games

we got nothing out wide smyth lightweight and kolli needs a season in l1

Andersen is a bit one paced. It showed in the spurs game, ball was played past him, he stood still, player then gets ball back and 2 secs later rolls it into the net. Prem players and faster in body and mind. Andersen prob has a quick brain not the feet aren't quick at all.

0-1 positives we ain’t playing these again

gulf in quality we got a lesson in how to press

worries are creativity is a big concern even v reason we controlled the game but never created against a L1 side either

For me Colback, Smyth, Anderson and Kolli are not automatic starters, hopefully get Chair back, another midfielder and a winger, strikers I’m really not sure ATM how good they are.
Funny Pal played the whole game if he’s off, had a decent game tbh.

As it stands I forecast about 14th in the league, of course a lot can change.

Thought it was a good workout for us especially our defense. We wont be playing a BHA every week.

At least 4 starters short , another tough start to the season

Obviously missed chair, celar nice touches but we struggled to get him into the game.

Lloyd, kolli need a season on loan in L1/2 get some matches into them. Field and colback create nothing through the middle both grafters hopefully Varane can open a defence as we don’t need grafting

think wba be a game to tough too early for us

That team we beat 11-0 the other week must play in the blind division of a disability league....

We'll be alright next week - core of the team looks fit and healthy. Today there was a Chair/Willock hole in the team that needs plugging; is up to Marti to deal with it. Probably will require a tactical solution, at least until Chair is back but longer term we need a decent "off-the-peg" attacking midfielder to link with our attack. Seems like we will have to wait until September before we get the meaty signing(s) in though.

I definitely don't want Ainsworth style hoofball.
I like teams that play football on the floor and press , pass and move etc .
I personally think Marti is a bit of a negative manager , in the sense that he is cautious and doesn't want to concede . He likes us to try and keep possesion and hopes that we can nick the odd goal and hold on .
I think he is a decent manager but i don't think we have enough quality attacking players and pace in our team to suit his style at the moment . We just don't create enough chances in games and when we do , we don't have the players with enough composure to finish.
Hopefully we are going to sign another striker with a bit of pace and a couple of wingers/ attacking midfielders , plus i hope this Varane can add a bit of pace and creativity to our midfield.
We need at least another 3 starters not squad players , then i think we'll be fine .

Watched about 5 mins and knew we are my good enough or quick enough to play around with it at the back
Hopefully we can bring it at home next Saturday

It doesnt bode well for a JCS windfall if he messing about with it against premiership opposition
