No you are not the only one. Games @ LR have been a hard watch and Preston seems destined to be the same. I really feel that we have the basis of a decent side. But the void at centre forward, for the whole season, may yet define our season.

Even though I don’t think Preston won’t turn up as their paid professionals, I honestly think we now have a much better chance to beat them. If Norwich get that 1 point for it to be mathematically impossible for Preston to catch them surely knowing that they can’t make the playoffs will affect their performance???? Who knows I’m not a professional footballer and I don’t know how their minds work but in my eyes that’s how I see it, but saying that my wife says I’m wrong all the time

They will put in a performance but I doubt they'll go at it hard......the fine margins we keep hearing about should go in our favour. But thats not to say its a given we'll win.
We have to be faviourites for the win.

I wouldn't say that we have to be favourites for the game. We are generally very poor at home. That HAS to change in such an important game. Let's hope that we turn up.
I still believe we are a mid table team and should never have been in this position. For whatever reasons both GA and MC seemed to think that a season without a central striker, is quite okay
IT IS NOT!! Some of our team have been heroes this year and the work of some others has been underestimated, due to no central striker (and therefore no end product). Unfathomable...
Good luck lads, start fast!!!

I'm sure GA and MC would have loved to have been able to bring in a decent striker or two. Was not to be presumably due to availability and price so we have just had to try and make do which has not really worked.
Keep telling myself Dykes is due a mini purple patch but it hasn't happened this season. We see promise with Sinclair but very few goals and Frey did not really get going before missing last couple of matches. Our attacking midfielders do not score enough to justify playing one up top. Has left us trying to stay solid and hoping to nick the odd goal by whatever means.

They will give it 80% and if we don't have the will or ability to win then we deserve to be relegated.
This game is for the taking and if we dont win the players should be binned off.....

No. I am sure that both managers were/are aware of our strikers' shortcomings. But to continue to play with nobody in the CF position, is wrong. It immediately presents our opponents the upper hand and their CH with a free role.
Anyway, too late for tinkering now. Good luck to the lads for tomorrow.
