We should start Frey if available, because at least he occupies a defender.

That's about all I have, your side otherwise is good. iF Frey is not available, then I would try play Dykes to start, even though we know he's useless, i'd ask him to drop deep, then i'd use Smyth as a lone striker up top in the second half, assuming we need a goal.

Sheff Wed should lose at home to Norwich. Hopefully Cardiff haven't started their holidays and will turn over Brum, or at least get a draw.

If fit then striker order should be Frey, Dykes and Armstrong. Shuffle them enough and hope one scores.......

Don't play Armstrong please. We are OK away from LR, so we have a chance. But at home, we are dreadful, clueless and shapeless. That is because we have no central attack and teams feel no pressure. Frey is our only option.

We look so much more "at it", compact and focused in away games. Based on our away form I'd be surprised to not pick up at least 3pts from next two games. Maybe Marti should make team meet at training ground at 8am for home games to board coach for a couple of turns round M25 before arriving at LR?

1. The pitch size
2. The compact nature of the ground
3. The pressure
4. Our mentality
5. A combination of them all

I'd say it's a bit of 1 and 2, leading to 4. Sheff made no sense to me. The way we setup, the energy we played with, the way we didn't realise as a team that we could have taken them on. I think the game was over thought bby Marti. Some teams you need to make detailed plans and others you need to play like Fergie's Man Utd, just go at them.

If we have the wrong players to play on a small pitch, that needs sorting because our pitch obviously can't get any bigger and we, also obviously, play half our matches on it.

It's weird how we were sluggish and lethargic at Hillsborough back in Winter too. That was a big "six pointer" too but we started slowly before falling apart at end despite Wednesday being terrible on the day and in a general slump. Maybe there's something about their formation/set-up that just stymies us?
