Frey is no world beater but he gives more than Dykes is right now. But yeah Armstrong is much more a threat than both.
But not sure why you are giving fellow fans a hard time because they have no footballing background. The fans didn’t sign him, Marti did, so by your logic you are saying Marti doesn’t know what he is doing because he never played at a high level either.
Due to WeAre's superior football knowledge he also hailed Beale as the real deal and on his way to greatness.
Certainly not giving the fans a hard time but we do have a few on here who didn't want Willock in the side and they love a workhorse, complete donkey type of player that will run 10miles in a game but like a headless chicken. I've got so much right but I do agree my Beale comments have come back to bite me

I think most didn’t want Willock in the side under Ainsworth, he looked disinterested and not willing to play for him. Ainsworth just wasn’t the right fit for our squad and we were a real mess. Now Marti is here and it’s a great fit for our squad and that includes Frey, he still has a vital role to play between now and end of season and maybe just maybe he will score an important goal or two.
Bit of a non-event. Slightly annoying as the crowd was flat and Sunderland were clearly nervous and wobbly in opening 10 mins - if we could have scored, or just got hold of the game by scruff of the neck I reckon they'd have caved in and we'd have romped home.
However, we just ponced about and never got up in support of Dykes with any speed, numbers or commitment and Sunderland settled into the game and it just petered out into a lot of ineffective huffing and puffing from both sides. Kinda annoying as I think the
concencus on here was we really ought to go after them. Still, if you can't win don't lose.
I don't normally like international breaks but right now I have a sense we could do with a break before next game.
Last three games we only got two points to show for our efforts, however, with a bit of luck that should have been six points. 44 points would be a job nearly done.
Let's face it our destiny is in our own hands next 4 games are all winnable and with three of them being against our relegation rivals.
The other being Swansea who are close to being safe and not going to get in the play off.
If we play the way we have in the last few weeks I believe we can win three of these games which should make us almost safe.
