Losing this one would be pretty disastrous given our inability to take care of business at LR. Based on performances/results over past few months I feel it's our most "winnable" game of the run-in. You'd think their confidence would be really fragile at the moment so it's a game to go on the front foot and try and get our noses in front so their morale hits the floor..
They did come back from 2-0 down at Southampton before eventually losing 4-2. I don't think it will be an easy match. It is very winnable but also just as likely to lose which pretty much sums up how we are at the moment. We have though had a week between games. If we stay solid and get the ball to likes of Chair, Anderson and Willock we have enough to cause them problems. More in hope than expectation I will go 2-1 to us.
To me, this just emphasises how flipping important it is on Saturday. Failure to get point(s) up there would suggest the team isn't equipped for the attritional pressure-cooker dogfight phase of the season.
Must win saturday.
Marti is already worrying me saying Sunderland are dangerous as they lost the last six games . Load of crap , they are low on confidence , attack them from the start , be positive and we will win , sit back and it will be Stoke all over again.

Don't read too much into their recent form, their last 3 matches were against tough opposition.

Theyre still suffering from a snake bite, the venom will wear off soon but heopfully not yet. It's a big pitch and they'll give us every opportunity to score, we just have to convert some.

Form means sweet fa in this league, anyone can beat anyone on my given day. IF we turn up we can beat anyone, that's the good thing now. A point in this game wouldn't be a disaster.
It's sure to be another tough match and you can't be sure about us. Here's hoping.
Another subject. I watched Brum lose to Middlesbrough this week. In defeat, thought Brum had quite a bit about them attacking wise. More than I generally see from us.

single points are not enough in thie fight at this point in time, we really need to put a cushion of even 1 game, 4 points from the bottom 3 and do our very best to maintain it. A loss and a draw in 2 games could just as easily see us second from bottom or keep us where we are, so dependent on other teams.
Must start Armstrong upfront today. The lad probably scored goal of the season against Leicester then found himself out of the picture in the next 2 games. Marti is a clever man so he probably wanted to not burn the lad out but I'd be extremely surprised if he doesn't start today.
