One win and one draw from those five January home games spells relegation.... At least there was a bit of fighting spirit at the end today, and where there's life there's hope, a loss today would have felt near terminal.

That was b***** awful. I think Marti might be clueless. We deserved nothing from that dire excuse of a game. It's basket weaving for me from now on. That might just be the worst game of football that I ever saw!

Yep, I would have to think long and hard to come up with a worse match from both sides, quite predictable though, that's why both teams are where they are, ref didn't help matters but it was just such a low quality affair!

Saddest thing is that was our best team today.

Ainsworth rarely got to put out the best 11 players, with Cook injured and Colback suspended.

Marti did today, and we didn’t beat one of the worst sides in the league.

Cooks interview at the end was spot on. Basically said we lacked quality throughout. Did say the pitch was poor today, I guess all the home games haven't helped with that.

I think it is wrong to blame Marti. Look at the bench. Adomah brought on Drewe,Fox,EJD,Smyth who is the only one who can impact a game. The rest of the players are leauge 1 standard at best. Our squad is so thin. Willock and Chair not up for it today.

We need a forward thinking team. The whole approach today was negative, cautious, backwards and sideways. A truly awful spectacle. Have to say I've become very suspicious of Cifuentes' ability as a manager/tactician/motivator. He's had 16 games, the majority against bottom half of table, only played two of the "big hitters, and our general trajectory hasn't meaningfully improved.
Massive "Cup Final" type game today and my view is that we collectively and abjectly failed to step up to the plate and Marti MUST take a significant amount of responsibility for that.

What a poor game of football , we were terrible .
We played walking football for most of the game and did'nt show any desire , considering it was our most important game of the season , i really worry about the mentality of our players . We had the chance to move out of the bottom 3 , playing a poor team at home the players should be busting a gut but they just strolled around.
I have been positive about our chances of staying up but after today , i don't think we've got a chance unless this forward is mustard and we sign another couple of midfielders on loan.
The ref was diabolical and every time i see him he is crap . He ruins football matches by blowing for fouls every time players go near each other . This played right into Huddersfields tactics of trying to get free kicks at every opportunity because they have got a good delivery and decent headers of the ball.
Drewe tried his heart out but is not good enough for Championship football , he gave Thomas too much space and let him run at him every time , he done ok stopping crosses but kept giving away corners , which is Huddersfiedls strong point .
Plesase Marti , don't ever play Lyndon Dykes as a number 10 , if you need to play him with Armstrong put them both up top to hassle the defence . He may have done ok in that role against Millwall but it does'nt work , you would have been better off with Smyth on and move Willock or Chair more central. It is an insult to all our great number 10s down the years . Marsh , Bowles , Goddard , Stainrod , Byrne and Wegerle.
It was'nt just Dykes today though , it was the whole team that was poor , just no passion or desire . Apparrantly that is the third time we could have moved out of the bottom 3 since Marti has been here and we've choked every time.

Do agree with most of this but since Marti has been here , we have competed in most games , bar maybe Millwall away and i am not sure if it is Marti being negative or just the players mentality . On our day these players have and can beat most teams in this league but they are too up and down and inconsistent and go on bad or good runs .
I hope Marti was'nt all bluff with his , i always try and win games and be positive ???
