I agree,just get the ball up the pitch ,no f……around on our by line ,tippy tappy suits some but not in this division.will we ever learn.And just play your strongest 11,can’t have Kelman,Kakay and Dozzell on the starting line up,and get someone in for Dykes,had enough chances

Talking of Dykes.... Not sure what point of starting Armstrong as lone striker was? He was hopelessly lost and ineffective - we need to be mindful of destroying the lad's belief and confidence. Fact is Dykes did better in 2nd half than Sincs did in 1st half in the thankless role of toiling away against three defenders. Surely starting Dykes and giving Sincs 20 mins to rampage against a tiring team is a more sensible deployment of them???
Absolutely did my head in when we defended their couple of corners and long throws with everyone back defending, even Armstrong.... Leave Armstrong (and maybe Smyth too) on halfway line and opposition will cack themselves and be forced to pull 2 or 3 back to cover them. Just a small example of our awful cagey approach to a game with mediocre opponents.

Agree.

Tippy tappy is only tippy tappy when the paleyrs do not have outlets. Tippy tappy, otherwise known as passing, is the alternative to hoofball, and it's what our squad is better at than aggressive and direct.

We'll improve, we really should be starting our best 11 to that style though, especially over the last 2 games. I agree entirely with getting the whole squad up to speed but we should be getting some points on the board. I guess we need to see what works coming into Jan. Marti is a better manager than all of us, because he is one, none ofus are, hopefully there is method in the choices.

I'm pleased that we can feel disappointed over the last 2 games, at least it shows that we should be winning, not just surviving, which has been the M.O. for some time now.

Agree Sheep we do have to look further than the manager now.
on another note this Alfie May at Charlton looks good 30 goals this year, big write up in paper today. Just what we need, not sure we could tempt him at the moment unless the heavy pen hit the cheque book
