Personally I thought we were excellent in the second half, their goal mot withstanding. I thought we outplayed them, and I would have been pleased even if we hadn't won, to score 4 was amazing.

I can only agree very good second half, what a relief to watch us play under Marti compared to Ainsworth the old QPR back. We are attacking again! Yes they invited us we played against 10 but this would never had happened under Ainsworth.

You constantly defend Dykes no matter when he misses sitters , plays poorly , are you related to him ?
You are right we have a lot of poor players that can't do their job but come on just admit it Dykes is a poor centre forward.
Even though he scored a great goal , he just doesn't do it enough.
We were poor tonight until the 75th minute after field went off , maybe we don't need 2 defensive midfielders in home games.
Fair play to Larkeche for chasing that ball down and creating the third goal and Kelman for battling away to create Willocks goal.
Hopefully that last 20 minutes will give the team a bit of confidence and we can push on now and go on a winning run.

Terrible miss by Dykes and we didnt do enough against their ten until the end. But we got some rub for a change.

Hopefully that goal will bring back the swagger to Willock's play.

Well done as I definitely didn't see us winning 4-2 after going behind. We needed a bit of luck and thankfully we had it for once. Still don't think willock really wants to be here but the manager likes him and for now he's involved but I reckon come January he's signing a pre contract with someone else. We may even get some money if we decide to sell in January rather than let him go on a free. Cannon was very impressive when he came on. Thought dykes benefitted from having more players around him in the last 20. Jcs has to start ahead of dunne who looks a liability lately.

Agree with you about Dunne , he was poor tonight and worried me every time ball went near him.
Also agree that Willock does'nt want to be here but he is by far our best and most creative player and we need him in the side , We looked a lot better when he came on but that was partly due to taking off a defensive midfielder and going more attacking which we should be doing at home .

In my opinion he isn't good enough to start for us , an impact sub maybe when we are pushing on for an equaliser.
I know we have a load of crap players Kakay , Smith , Bonner , Dozzel , Kelman , i could go on and none of them are good enough either . I'm not picking on Dykes , just stating my opinion which loads of others on here agree with but why do you always defend him . No matter how badly he plays and how many sitters he misses , if you are related to him , i don't blame you , as i would defend my own.

Agree dykes is poor that’s why he fits in our side at the moment. But tonight was a good game of football had everything and great to hear the crowd up the noise level
Brilliant result and rightly so. I think we have the team to stay up and a decent centre forward would make it so much easier. But let’s enjoy the moment

Pretty funny thread to read through in hindsight. I know heat of the moment but geez some are quick to slate us. The last year has been tough.

We were good tonight, a typpical Championship game with dips in quality across the park but overall we did well. Chair was ok despite his consistently poor set pieces, worldy pass to put Dykes through whos had a howler, but overall those were the 2 big negatives i'd make.

DB played very well, afew individual errors but he's showing some quality and plenty of effort, great hustle by Larkeche. Dykes, well he's just not the guy for the lone striker role but happy he put that one away. We were organised in defence by and large and the midfield was present, no one went missing.

We've got to look at the overall performance and it was positive, more effort thatn i saw in most of GA's games, plenty of chances created and guts shown. If we can fix up set pieces and continue to get the ball working in our favour in the final third we're going to be in a happier place come 2024.
