Poor scrappy ugly game. Two poorish sides. Bad passing, terrible crossing, bad ball control etc. Statuesque forwards. They were as bad as us. Little promise that I could see. Marti will be a lot clearer after today about the task ahead and the level of the raw materials available to him. Really bad miss from Field, sad to say.

The new manager seems to have us set up and playing better but the lack of goal scoring was always going to doom us, the old saying that you can't polish turds seems appropriate!

I admire your optimism but the only direction we are heading is Lg One, we will be adrift by the time the transfer window opens and that is assuming this clueless board even want to address our lack of punch up front!

Mate we have scored 1 in 3 and we never looked like scoring today. Our only goal was Chair’s one goal a season contender. We looked more potent under Ainsworth. I’m really amazed people are somehow convincing themselves this is in some way better. We are set up to lose 1-0 right now. Keep playing this system and tactics, and we will go down.
