Right then. Club are being correct and professional and not getting drawn into any of the online/media speculation about manager's position.
Business as normal and Gareth and his staff are now focussing on the next game away at Huddersfield must be the assumption.
Now, much has been made about the diabolical stat of 1 win at home in a year but what about the fact we are 4 wins from the last 9 away games? P9 W4 D2 L3.
That's pretty good going! Therefore, it's imperative that we draw a line under Saturday and get behind the manager and players for the game with Terriers. It's a BIG game where 3pts would be priceless. Indeed, the game at Baggies a few days later is a biggie too, a biggie at the baggies if you will..... (yeah, you could argue they're all biggies but y'know what I mean.... right here, right now, we need points and these games look winnable).
No reason we cant take 1250+ up to Hudd and 1000+ to Hawthorns.
I'm gonna go to both. Would have ordered Hudd ticket today but WBA not on sale yet so I'll wait and order both in same basket (will they still sting me for 2 handling fees? Bet the cheeky blighters will!).
Obviously it's a free forum and folks can discuss whatever they like. Me personally, I'm gonna lay off discussing GA's replacement or bemoaning the lack of quality and depth in the team for now. We are where we are and we have to play the hand we've been dealt - let's send the boys some love: it might get them over the line on 21st.
We’ve got quality but just not showing it. It’s the quality of the management coaching is the problem & tactics is there any? Players not adapting to the style of play or can’t adjust to it, need to get back to basic football but not sure with GA
Last couple of games have been dire. However against Blackburn we were without Cook, Fox and Field. That left us super lightweight plus we rested a few. No excuse for the horror show but if we have say two of those back and add back in one or two who were rested then in theory we should at least be more solid.
We also lack shape. Without having access to a worthwhile Willock and Richards with his issues that leaves Chair as our creative outlet. That is not enough on his own and he doesn't really work either when being played on the wing. And of course only having Dykes as senior striker and Armstrong looking to break through as a regular starter.
We have Cannon to come in which hopefully will be a positive. Dunne coming back from injury and if played alongside someone like Cook could come good again.
Our best chance of picking up points is to be solid, a little nasty and look to nick wins and draws where we can. That would require the opposite to the Blackburn and Leeds performances but injuries allowing we potentially have a team that could do it. I would emphasise this is very much hope rather than expectation.
The main concern for me is the lack of chances we're creating. If you don't score goals, you've got no chance.
We've scored 8 goals in 11 games. Colback at Southampton and Dozzell at Boro were both 1 in 100 shots that won't be repeated very often, so 8 actually flatters us. In fact, I read a stat yesterday that had us bottom of the league in terms of big chances created, which was 6.
We need to start scoring goals and I've not seen any evidence of that improving under GA. Something needs to change and it needs to start at Huddersfield.
The Huddersfield game will answer a lot of questions in terms of GA and the players. Will we get the same reaction as we got against Cardiff, Ipswich, Southampton and Boro after the defeat at Watford? It's very much needed. A poor performance at Huddersfield will tell us all we need to know.
Playing Chair on the wing pretty much blows GA`s credibility as a coach totally out of the water for me. I accept that others might have opposing views though.
Cannon isn’t going to be the saviour
he isn’t that great .
the proof is in the fact he has signed for us
his been without a club for 3/4 months. And no one touched him not even a trial !
We then give him a 4 year contract .

Huddersfield is a must win
I have to say that I totally disagree with you on this occasion. I think he can be a real influence on the side. He's played for one of the best teams in Portugal who have European history and I don't see any current player in our squad ever playing for a club of that size. I don't want to hype him up but if you look at the level he has played then he will be far more technically gifted than any other player at QPR. I think it was a huge signing it's just a shame we didn't bring in a striker with him but that doesn't make this signing any less significant and we've done well to get him and there was Definitely plenty of interest
I see Fox is out and Cook doubtful. What are we thinking the starting lineup will be?
Begovic
Paal, Dunne, JCS, Cannon
Chair, Colback, Field, Willock
Armstrong, Dykes

totally agree with his better than what we got who can play on the right . But that’s not hard with being better than kakay . So definitely a improvement on him
Just stating his not a great player who will ever play in the premiership.
he didn’t pull up any trees in Portugal.
assist 1 goal in about 100 appearances no goals . For an attacking right back that’s absolutely shocking .
I long for the day when the opposition can't just bomb forward down our right side. The introduction of Cannon will hopefully be a start in that respect.
Although its not must win time but for GA sake it probably getting to that point as he's getting to sitting duck territory, Performances have been diabolical yep missing cook fox don't help but tactically we a shambles.
you'd like to think in the international break we've practiced crossing t start with.
going for another loss just don't see goals to win games.
