Definitely arrogant and aloof , think that Yorkshire is something special and they own it .

Well given that virtually every other thread on here revolves around our general ineptitude I can't see how we could reasonably be irked by a Leeds rag suggesting we are the ideal opponents to be facing - surely that is a factually correct statement? We WERE preseason faves for the drop and we ARE in the drop zone.

Anyway, notwithstanding that, I feel we are very capable of getting at least a point up there. We need to ignore all the noise and just play what's in front of us on the pitch tomoz cos I reckon Leeds are a bang average disparate bunch of ploddders.

I don't think Cook is the right CB for a 442. Feels like he needs a little cover and help at his and much better in a 5.
5 also makes us tighter and harder to breakdown, which is what we want away.

Our away tactics and style of play haven't been bad. It's just we need more options and threats at home, which is where we should look at playing a 4-4-2. We look weak on the counter attack is all.

With the arrival of Cannon, Colback returning from suspension and Dunne returning from injury, 4-4-2 looks the best way to get our best 11 players all on the pitch at the same time. If you play a 3rd CB, you have to sacrifice a Striker, meaning we play only 1 up front again. From our goal scoring threat this season, it would mean we are turning into a QPR nil side! We need to find a way to score more goals, which is letting us down massively. We MUST play 2 up front or we won’t score! It’s that simple. Additionally if you play both Smyth and Chair wide they can supply the crosses for Dykes and Armstrong to hopefully get on the end of them, plus it takes away Chair playing central and holding onto the ball too long slowing our play whenever he gets the ball. It makes perfect sense to me, however it’s on GA to find our best way.
