I'm currently in Leeds services scoffing some scran. Yes, was a good team showing. Boro were very profligate, got in on goal too many times for my liking but Asmir coolly repelled them all - solid keeping throughout.
Sinclair blowing out his ass again after 60mins. Kakay and Dozzell finally seem to be fulfilling their potential, Smyth a livewire all game. Even got to see JCS and Willock in action - couldn't make this up!
Dunno away fan numbers, looked like 700-800 maybe?
Reasonably noisy, particularly in second half.
Right, quick slash then back on the road - think I'll leave the roof down, it's still 20C - gotta make hay whilst sun shines I spose..

im over the moon about todays result and like i said after the norwich defeat i felt more optimistic with the players we had on the sidelines but come on its very early days....yes hes doing better than i expected but come on

GA has been very clear that the style his teams play reflect the quality of the squad. He had to go direct with WW because tbeyre a small club even in L1. After the Watford game he realised the squad was getting better and could play a better style. Thats a good manager in my opinion and proves hes not a one trick pony. The myth that players wouldnt sign for us because of his history and being technically limited has also been busted. He also a great motivator and he'll do for me......and always was.

It was a real team effort which paid off, today. So good to see how i.e. Dozzell and Kakay perform so much better this season. Chair, Begovic and Colback were men of the match for me.

Dont forget Cook what a defender so clever reads the game so well suprised Forest let him go so cheap. Could probably do a good job in the premier leauge, class above tie him up for the next 3 years!

It’s not just 2 wins . Other than the watford game I have seen enough to show me the team are giving everything it’s not just about winning I want my team fighting till the end ,

And that’s what I’m seeing .

I don't think that's strictly true or accurate. I think the biggest issue was GA's C.V. wasn't especially compelling (moderate success and consistency with third tier low ambition club). In that context, most folks would be wary - why would anyone have got excited and deemed him a great appointment?
My view then was that he had one job: save us from the drop which he duly did. Then, give him 10 games this season and see where we are. Today, it's too early to pass a definitive judgement but he seems do be doing a decent job 4-weeks into the season.

It’s clear you are a GA lover no matter what. But you are really wide of the mark. And let’s call it out for what it was. GA is a long ball merchant; always has been. In his words “i realised I had to play to the teams strengths and forget how I have done it in the past”. Oh and “I need to be a new Gareth”. He changed styles because he had to save his bacon. Results were dire, Performances even worse. Now he is reaping the rewards. Shame he didn’t start it earlier, and thank Christ he didn’t relegate us in the process.
