Eam spot onI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Chair makes their goalie pull off a wordly save through the legs of defenders.
Smyth hits the crossbar and then the side netting; Armstrong ran them ragged so much, that as soon as they knew they had the ref as their 12th man, they resorted to blocking and pulling him down.
Our attacking threat is looking a little better, but agree we need a striker b4 window closes.Minds Are Like Parachutes.

We've played some decent sides and three away games but we're still not in the bottom three. Hopefully we'll get another striker in before the window closes. Things dont look too bad.........Comment

The only poor thing about their second goal, was Kakay gave Armstrong to much space for him to score should have been much tighter, otherwise just unlucky we didn't get something out of the game, the ref was a disaster.Comment

I mention refs several times in the past. English refs are below average. Decisions every one see so clear, they turn their heads. Scandalous. I did not watch the game, however, from the comments I read it looks business as usual. Can the club make a formal complaint? As for the team I think they are doing quite well. Of course the results are not what we all wish for. But I believe results will turn in our favour soon.Comment

I'm a ref and the worse problem today's referee had was his poor positioning .
constantly getting stuck in the middle of the play when it was congested.
Your position is the most important tool a ref has , as you should only give what u can see .
Overall they were the better passing team but I thought some of the obstruction on Sinclair was ridiculous .
Smyth was unlucky twice in 2nd half and on another day would of scored .
Well pleased with the effort we put in , showed guts and endeavour.Comment

Well since losing at home to the mighty Huddersfield last October we've played 35 games more and managed just 5 wins. I don't know, but I suspect that must be the worst current 36-game run of any English league team. We don't seem to draw much under Ainsworth so nicking a few more draws might be a good start.Originally posted by Martinmalta View Post

My gripe with the ref was he played advantage fair enough for the 2nd goal they made 2 or 3 passes lost possession through a bad pass then went back due to lack of advantage.Originally posted by 72bus View Post

Armstrong was very physical but got sod all free kicks on him and 1 was a clear booking
how the frigging hell did he get so many decisions wrong when he was so close to play as you say he was right next to it half the bloody time.
Sadly he perm refs are so bad we need Var and was it Mike Dean who backed of using Var to save a refs face by his own admittance that's just blatant cheating imo
Ok everyone has to start somewhere and I played to a decent level and had the unfortunate experience of Prem ref in his early days before made league level grade and he was shite and ended up shite in the prem who promotes these people.
Didn't deserve to lose but we made 2 mistakes Begovic howler and to be fair to Kaka Armstrong miss controlled it before finishing
