I liked the young group of players that came into that game, some good touches and moments from them and they worked hard. I don't think we need more from transfer market as they did more than we saw that guy from Bournemouth last year do (name escapes me).
There was more purpose from them and with more game time in championship with a team that aren't supposed to be tearing up the league I think a couple of them will be first time regulars next year.

Hate losing but at least this season (Watford aside) we look more capable of being solid and more difficult to beat. If we can maintain that we should be fine. Do agree with others though we desperately need at least one striker and preferably one or two other squad players, and not to lose anyone preferably. We'll see but like our signings so club doing what it can with the little available.

No chance we should have lost this game! Our first eleven can compete in the championship, but our bench is L1/L2 standard. If you put on Dixon-Bonner, Duke-Mckenna and Rayan Kolli you are in big trouble. Ipswich will be around the playoffs we lost this game du to lack of depth in the squad. We need some bodies in the championship is a marathon 43 games left. Rayan Kolli i liked hes movement but needs one or two seasons out on loan.

That was a tough one to take, I think they were there for the beating, especially in that first half. The impetus and momentum died with Willock and Armstrong going off and it became a case of hoping for a point.
Ipswich had more of the ball in the first half but I think we had the better of the chances and could have gone in one-up, which would have been a big plus. They wanted to play football but the higher we pressed, the more they had to resort to going long and they looked limp up front as a result. I liked the pressing from us in the first half.
Second half it was their game. Willock going off killed some of our creativity and then Armstrong going down ended any chance of a goal and win. I am gutted for Sinclair. From the highs of last week and tears there to what looked like tears today as he went off. I hope it’s not a long injury as he looked dangerous and Ipswich struggled with him but when players go down with no one around them, it’s rarely a short one.
