For some deranged reason I quite fancy us to sneak this 2-1.

Ipswich on a great run but are a promoted side so I do not think we have anything particularly to fear and we need a big improvement on our home form given our only 2023 win was 1-0 against Watford. I see us ceding possession to a degree but if we stay firm and can break quickly we can get the result. Likes of Cook and Colback, if fit, allows us to play more solid and mean.

Yep that’s the side I’d like to see start aswell (presuming Dykes is injured and both Colback and Willock are fit to start?) If they aren’t I’d like to see SDM played ahead of Dozzell, but who plays in the Dykes/Willock role?

Hoping to sneak over the line with a hard fought 1-0 win, but realistically can see it being a 1-1 draw.

Bit galling they have Ball and Luongo whilst we have Dozzell. Maybe playing Ipswich will fire up Dozzy and he'll finally put a dominant performance in, I still feel there's a gem of a player in him somewhere.

I dont think Dozzell got the ability to dominate an u14s game

They aint a bad side its winnable id like to see chair dominate this game then we win

ON Saturday there will be a minute’s applause ahead of our fixture with Ipswich Town as the club remember three former players who sadly passed away during the close season, as well as a member of staff.


John Hollins MBE was part of the Rangers team which came within a point of winning the First Division championship in 1975/76. He made 183 appearances for us between 1975 and 1979 with seven goals to his name. He sadly died on 14^th June at the age of 76.

Mike Hellawell played for the club between 1956 and 1957, making 48 appearances and scoring eight goals. He passed away on 18^th July at the age of 85.

And Trevor Francis, who joined us in 1988, later becoming player-manager. He made 42 appearances, scoring 15 goals.

Trevor sadly passed away on 24^th July, aged 69.

We will also remember Alison Stevens, a very valued and much-loved member of QPR and Achilleus Security who passed away at only 29 years of age. Alison lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday 15^th August and we will all miss her deeply. She was a colourful, kind, and dedicated member of the team working at Loftus Road, Heston, and Harlington over the years.

May they rest in peace.
