I think there was very good potential with Amos and remember some good matches but injuries have really derailed his career, he worked so hard to get back from a devastating knee injury and scored a goal on his return which I believe won a match for us, in the post match interview he was so thankful to the rehab team and everyone for their patience, he was almost in tears! Unfortunately more injuries have further derailed his career and I am sceptical as to whether he will ever contribute anything for us again but I will not slate a player who has shown a genuine appreciation to this club!@gatorTFC

I didn’t watch him for spurs so can’t tell you what he was like .. but I haven’t really seen him ever beat a man or contribute anything from day 1 .. ok his scored a few goals but I think his absolute dog sxxt but again that’s just my opinion.. and it gets to me because the same people who rate Amos slates dykes and the last few games proves what dykes brings to the team .

I’ve always failed to see what are Amos best qualities or position in a team. He’s not going to win many tackles, he’s not creative in his passing, not blessed with dribbling skills or real pace.
The only redeeming attribute was his stamina and because of injuries appears to have lost that.
Think he scored 4 or 5 goals last season but missed a host of chances too.

The reason Amos is being mentioned is because we have dozzel starting who lets face it would be playing in the Middlesex league if his dad wasn't famousI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

but you are absolutely spot on as a midfielder you got to have something if that’s goal scoring or tackling .. field is a shield and is solid . Steff is calm and play a pass and again hussles and gets about puts his foot in . Tim can go past players with a turn or pace . Amos can’t beat a man he can’t Pass unless it’s 5 yard side way pass . He don’t tackle . It’s honestly like paying with 10 men . The same with Dozzell
does absolutely nothing can’t score can’t tackle but can pick a pass thru every now and again I give him that .. but again in same bracket as Amos and when them 2 have started together .. wow lol
