Gone a bit early on this one, but does anybody' else feel a bad sense of foreboding on this one? ( Vauxhall Motors?)
Just looking at the turmoil of the last couple of months and where everything is at the moment, it seems like a perfect storm?
Really hope I'm wrong about the end result,, but it's the perfect game to give Armstrong 90 mins, if in the event he knocks a couple in, it would give the lad a big boost

I read somewhere that Critchley wants to breed a winning mentality and have a good cup run. I hope he means it and is'nt just spouting normal manager ########.
I hope we ply as many of our first 11 as possible barring injuries and put the effort in like we did against Sheff utd , if we do i think we'll win.
If we start resting players and put players like Thomas , Amos , Hamalainen etc in the side we will lose.
Lets face it we've only played 5 times in 2 months and we do'nt play again for 7 days , so the players do'nt need a rest.

Gotta give Sinclair a run out if he struggles against these he needs a loan out in L1 Id rest dykes that’s it all others play bar Amos who’s probably out with foot injury after his blue badge fell on it.

Why not give some of the fringe players a run out?

They could surprise and add competition for a first team slot/ enhance their sell on value/benefit from playing in a competitive game? If they flop, then its only a cup game, and it will confirm the Managers have been right in leaving them out of league games where it really matters.

Not one of our under 23/21s what ever they are now are not good enough for the first team . Unfortunately. Might be some in u18s but again they would be in and around the first team . Should do what Brentford’s done scrap it all and make a B team .

I think it's about 25 times we've gone out at first hurdle since reaching '82 final. What's worse is we virtually never get a juicy tie and get beaten by a manifestly bigger/better team - we invariably capitulate to a team that, on paper, we ought to beat. Basically, we get drawn against dreary uninspiring opposition and lose.
Special mention must be given to the three year period we spent in third tier in early 2000s and duly went out of FA Cup in FIRST ROUND every year - complete shambles.

I used to go to FA Cup games and get excited too. Indeed, from mid 70s to mid 90s I barely missed a tie. However, it dawned on me that we were cursed and I came to the conclusion that enough was enough.

For the sake of those that are going to the game or still care I hope we do well but personally I couldn't give a monkey's.

I got married in 1976, so we were looking for a house during the 75/76 season, and I rationed myself to Cup games - of course we got knocked out early !

I’ve watched a few U21/B games (U23 games have been scrapped) and would be quite confident that Alexander Aoraha will be a valuable addition to the first team soon.

Although Bonner has had niggling injuries since joining he also has shown he’s way above U21 level, he’s very confident in possession.

I want to see a strong team out, we need a confident performance and losing to Fleetwood would be pretty depressing.

I don't like all the references that get spouted in the media every third round day about QPR's atrocious FA Cup record, it was the same every time we played Forest away....

Respect to all those making the trip today, personally, I would love to see us in the draw for Round 4.
