First time this season it looked like MW was out-managed. And beyond Field, Balogun, Chair and Dykes (Willock has a bye here) the hustle and drive were lacking from the first whistle.
Given we looked so out of it, why so late in making substitutions?
And in front of the largest home crowd in forever.
Hardest loss of the year to take.

That was poor don't understand MB tactics and subs today delivery into the box was terrible why didn't we go 2 up top Dykes had 2 on him all afternoon should of brought on another striker to stop the doubling up on Dykes why take Laird off when we needed width.

We’ve looked leggy for a few games now obviously we don’t have a massive squad but the bench summed it up for me Thomas is miles away from a 1st team player
not sure why we left willock out there so long he’s was shattered by 55 mins imo only increases injury
Bad day at LR again against a poor side for me
can’t see us beating Huddersfield way we’re playing just no pace or energy that’s a fundamental basic for this league

In the car going back to the house. This is my 2nd game this week and honestly if we were still playing I don't think we would have scored in either.
The 0-0 on Wednesday was a decent result, but that is now 3 games where apart from the penalty miss, we have not looked like scoring, which is the real worry for me.
I'm in SA F block and so it is difficult to guage, but the body language on the bench looked non plus.
Think MB got today really wrong. The subs were far too late.... though to be honest not sure if any of them could have done much to change the result. But bringing Armstrong on with 5 mins to go was mystifying.
Hopefully it is a blip, a worrying blip, and we need to turn this round on Tuesday
