Just glass half full for a minute but other than the Blackpool game, the only losses we've had in the league this season so far have all been away to teams currently in the top half of the table, just saying that's all.

Haven't been able to watch this tonight but seeing jcs and Roberts going off doesn't exactly inspire confidence that either of those lads can be relied upon to play a few games in a row. Roberts has been well below the standard I was expecting from the limited time I've seen him. Lots of talent but a bit of a show pony imo. Jcs came with ba poor injury record and nothing has changed.

Am hoping my pessimism will mean we coast to a three nil win but got bad vibes tonight which may not be a bad thing as when I expect us to walk games we dont
Be great if we managed to see Monsieur willock on the turf again though.

Lazy , clueless , 2nd to the ball all night , players half heartily tackling ... Reverting to last season's let's play 5 a side in the back four... Move the ball quickly with purpose. Brum wanted it more closed us down and won by a fluke goal and a goal where we didn't put in a challenge. They had more passion and heart than us tonight..

Just seen highlights if you could call them that. Dieng looked leaden footed trying to scramble back for the first goal. Terrible goal to concede. Second was a typical poor effort from a defender showing the attacker inside instead of forcing them to go outside. Shots across the face of the goal are so annoying to watch. Dykes was unlucky with the pen. Ruddy was moving before the ball was kicked but can't believe deeney didn't get a card for blatantly body checking the ref after he gave the pen. You can't get in the face of the ref and then make contact like that. Yet the ref bottled it.

Re jcs, I saw him up close at boro at home on day 1 and it struck me how skinny his legs were and how slight he looked for a centre back. He isnt small by any means but his body shape doesn't look capable of coping with the demands of this league. Hope I'm proved wrong but we seem to have a long history of signing players who are injured when they turn up or can't stay fit when they eventually do!
Less said about Roberts the better. At least when jcs is fit he looks a player we can use. Roberts hasnt shown us anything to be excited about so far.

What beale said after the game that they had worked out our over lapping full backs out and his look as he said it means to me he needs to find other ideas within our shape and the players need to adapt in games.I felt they were pressing us so much first half and we continued to play from the back which played into there hands, sometimes I feel we should turn them over with long balls in that period of games and change the feel of the game and not take chances, games go through times where both teams get times of play and we need to ride it out and then play our nice play, also mixing it up would of kept them guessing

I know it was a very brief cameo in cruddy circumstances but can't avoid fact that Taylor Richards looked deeply underwhelming - seemed lost and at sea. Hopefully it was simply part of a group malaise the whole team was suffering at that late stage, everyone just huffing and puffing waiting for final whistle.

Armstrong was about the only one whe put any real effort in. I thought chair was tripe midfield was over run v 5 they deployed same tactics as Luton and again we had no idea
We need a cf in Jan roberts looks bone idol for me and needs to sort his fitness and all round demeanour out looks like a knackered Andre gray
need willock badly as dykes I’m sorry is shite

Same as Luton really. I feel for Lyndon sometimes as time and again he makes the runs but no delivery. Not saying he'll score as clearly he is not that deadly. Also not understanding Bonne not given more chances otherwise what was the point in keeping him? Also agree with a previous poster that Armstrong should be out on loan.

I thought Birmingham looked very solid defensively and were very aggressive towards our players , which is ok but with a better and stricter ref we could of been given a lot more fouls towards us .
We seem to struggle against the teams that are more physical and press us quickly forcing us to give the ball away.
As soon as i saw that ref come out of the tunnel i was thinking , #### , he never gives us anything and it was no different last night , that Hannibal should of had a second yellow but he bottled it. Balogun was fouled for the second Birmingham goal as well when he was near there penalty box. Also if the ref touches the ball , the game should be stopped and a drop ball should happen but not that weird ####.
Even when i've seen him referee other championship games he's been ####.
Anyway knowing Rangers we'll beat Norwich and all will be good.
