Sort of game we could easily have lost 1 nil. A difficult watch at times but can’t fault the application and effort. I really like What Beale is building and how he coaches and sets up the team, never afraid to make changes.
Balogan is a class act, hope he can stay fit.
Stef is back to the Stef we signed on loan but I still fear that we lack a poacher striker who could have made all the difference yesterday

Yes, Balogan looks the business. Must admit, I thought pfffftttttt! when he joined and he'd be 6th choice in case Masterson got injured. Now I want him as skipper...... just goes to show I don't know my ass from my elbow!
We have a much better, better-coached, better to watch squad. Kudos to Mick and the administration. Think when we get Amos, Richards and Clarke-Salter back that we will also have the depth to weather the rest of the season, especially if Dykes can rediscover even a touch of his scoring potential.
Dickie looks to be right down the pecking order due to his lack of mobility. Perhaps there'll be a buyer for him in Jan so we can put some money towards a striker.....the finsl push for the play offs. Too much weight in the shoulders of Chair and Willock.
Thought Dickie was dropped due to an injury concern...
Me reading between the lines especially as the new chsp seems an upgrade with the clean sheets. Dickie has cost us recently and im guessing MB made a call. An ackle turn kept sectret or bruised ego???
I love a good conspiracy. Did you know the Queen usnt dead but living in a terraced house in Bolton after coup from Charles!
Masterson is 24 yrs old and should already be an established first teamer by now. How much development do these "men" need?
Good point with Masterson. I'd overlooked how old he was. Looks to be under contract until Summer 2023? I'll rephrase, Masterson needs to go out on loan with view to finding new club next summer.

Just goes to show that some players can stay too long in a premiership academy and a few injuries later and you've hardly got any experience half way through your career.
Players who join championship clubs early can get their careers going earlier and if good enough will get sold to the prem.
Funny how things change wasn't.long ago that dickie was the new beckanbauer
There certainly was a lot of debate around whether he could be a premiership CB due to his lack of pace. My view was he wasnt suitable but still hoped the £10m figures being mentioned were true. A lot cited John Terry as a prime example of a CB who had no pace.
