THE Stanley Bowles Stand will officially open this weekend in honour of the R’s legend.

At 1.30pm, the family will officially open the The Stanley Bowles Stand at the main entrance on Ellerslie Road. It would be great to have as many fans as possible arrive for this moment.

The R’s faithful are also encouraged to show their support for Stan with a minute’s applause in the tenth minute of the match.

Can't see us winning this, I'll go 1-3 but lord knows where our goal will come from.

Fixture computer has been unkind to us in my view. If you asked me to list our away games by order we'd probably lose this season, Blackburn would've been top of the list. A similar list for home games I'd put Boro in top 3 most likely to lose.

It'll even out over 46 games but at this juncture it's flipping annoying..... could've done with one of our opening home/away games being a pushover (if there is such a thing).

Spot on Blackburn never get anything, Lumley gone and boro realised he was shite will be tough again at home.

To be fair when dykes gets a bit of service he can get a few goals. It's his all round game that's poor. We are slow to move the ball up the pitch, we still have no wingers and no one at the club can cross a ball. The best crosses put in last year were by barbet!!!
