Sinclair Armstrong missed a golden chance near the end. Overall they were better than us. Kakay, Dickie and Field had good games, however, we need some new signings as some of the players are not up to this level. Maybe at home, it will be a different story. Did not expect any better at Ewood!
Totally agree, I think Beale today will now have a clearer picture of where we are, we all know the weaknesses and today just reinforced them, using 5 subs was surely not in the plan, however most of the players subbed were totally out of sorts, MB needs to cut the squad and bring in 3-4 players
We don't have the money to get a team ready for the start of the season. Players will be signed towards the end of ghe window when selling clubs will be just glad to get their excess players off their books and they become more affordable to us.
We can only really assess the squad from Sept onwards. And when our key players are back from injury and fully match fit.
Disappointing not to get a point today such is life for a mid-table team.
Passing was off all day long. No shots on goal says all that has to be said about our thirst for the goal. Why Thomas is one of the first subs blows my mind as much as his attempt on goal. Kakay cannot start at RB for us or anyone in this league; play Drewe if necessary until we draft another player in for that hole in our defense.
And why is it Seny will NEVER boot the ball upfield, or even quickly distribute the ball upfield, at the tail end of a game when we are behind?
Our owners have given up with us and over the next few years are hoping to recoup some of their money by selling players on like Eze.
The trouble is , apart from Willock we have'nt got anyone worth selling on.
This idea of getting Beale in to develop our young players is all well and good if you've got players with ability . Players like Kakay , Hamelainen , Thomas , Dykes , Bettache, Duke mackenna, Dozzel and Shodipo just are'nt good enough for this level and should be got rid of and not even used as back up.
We need to sign some players or loan some and i'm sure we will , then hopefully we can compete at least. Todays result was'nt as bad as i thought it would be as we were poor last season , even though we won quite a few games , by luck more than anything and this seasons squad as it stands is weaker.
Think I'm on my own here, but am I the only one thinking we had a half decent first half? I thought we pressed well and got into good positions, but struggled with that final ball. Second half was much sloppier though. Its a shame, as I don't think blackburn were anything special today.
Probably the result, most of us expected , given the history up there, but early days, things that need sorting, my stream wasn't great , but we certainly had a couple of decent chances that I saw, no need to get into corporal Jones mode just yet

I hope every one doesn’t mind but I have my own opinion on todays game. I watched (or tried to) watch the entire match on a screen in a sports bar in Spain especially strewn for me. From what I saw we were solid and comfortable until their 30 yard thunderbolt goal came from nowhere! Unfortunately, we had no answer to it. It was a dire game between what looked like 2 x poor sides. I don’t want to #### anyone off, but to me it looked about the fair result, even though even Though we seem to have the better of the ball.

It's not just you .
My son text me saying we don't look too bad in the first half and that our full backs and Dykes were ####.
He did'nt text me about the second half though.
Blackburn are poor as well , they were like us last season and in their last 18 games only won 4 , they've also lost some decent players and have'nt signed much so will probably struggle this year.
