Spot on Don. Tbh the tactics are extremely baffling. I don't think mode has a clue where he should be playing. Listen coaches very rarely make good managers. This has very much a Steve maclaren feel about it. It was always going to be a huge risk for us. I just hope we can stay up

No you're right Macca. I think we all love the owners because they send out Amit and he says the right things yet clearly are leaving us in the sh it. The lack of spending is unforgivable. We clearly lacked goals last season and yet nothing has been addressed.

This team looked all over the place today. Did we have a shot on target?? Rinse and repeat. Another non performance to start the season off. Was hard to see anything of note on what they have been doing in pre season as its just hit and hope yet again. We have so many people who can't turn and run with the ball. Too many taking the safe option. Don't get me started on Thomas. Uncle was playing left wing. Richards was right next to him. Washington wasn't sure where to play. Smacked of a team thrown together and not had any time to gel. Another wasted 90 mins. Hard to see any positives. The kit looked nice. That's it.

Probably the result, most of us expected , given the history up there, but early days, things that need sorting, my stream wasn't great , but we certainly had a couple of decent chances that I saw, no need to get into corporal Jones mode just yet
