What does MW do as the manager?

For months we’ve seen mediocre football or worse.

He stubbornly resists changing the formation.

He plays (and constantly praises) aging favorites who continue to spiral downhill.

His subs (supposedly in consultation with the other coaches) are by and large either late or ludicrous.

We all like his class and character, but where’s the toughness, the fight, the ingenuity?

Yes, we are a smaller budget team climbing out of years of losing.

Yet with MW we will never know just how good we could have been.

The team that put the effort in and wanted it more won . Baffling substitutes , lack of tactics , sloppy , no cutting edge ... I could go in but it's late

even after nearly 24hrs i am still appalled by the display v posh, three games v a drop zone team, 3 losses and 3 times they have outplayed us and shown heart, passion and gave all. the subs made by us were met with dismay and some boos. we do not look ike scoring, create little, the tempo has gone to near pedestrian and as a team we have lost all energy and form since barnsley. this team looked donald ducked yesterday and we looked a team going down not posh. 2 weeks rest and then maybe new energy and determination kicks in, maybe pride

Why not go 2 up front? Charlie on his own is not the answer! We need goals to get back in this! Sacrifice a bloody defender FFS! Is he scared the score will get worse that’s why he’s kept 3 x CH on? And now Hendrick?! F*ck my old boots, give me strength! He’s got to go!!!

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when he made those substitutions although shouldn’t have been surprised by them as he was equally baffling against Forest as well as other games. He is now on par with Holloway with baffling selections and subs.

On the plus side we won’t be relegated this season, but suspect he will go at the end of the season if we continue to lose matches (very likely given we have to play Fulham, Sheffield Utd twice, Huddersfield, Preston, Stoke and Swansea away and a game against a relegation threatened Derby who have an excellent record at our ground). I wouldn’t be surprised to see MW equal McLaren’s 7 match losing run. We are on 2 now and have Fulham Sheffield Utd Preston Huddersfield and Derby next 5.

Nothing to be done now of course but not the club's finest hour in my view.
