Well I never!? Didn't see that coming at all.
I'm going to chuck Warburton a bone and suggest he picked a team to start and a team to finish. I presume he wanted to stifle Luton and then capitalise in latter stages when their energetic pressing would be fading. The approach paid off and delivered, albeit somewhat luckily.
Lots of things still not working in my view, too many to mention, but no point raking them over at this juncture..... its onto Forest with a spring in our step now.

There are a lot of little men, in the world, who think that the world is against them, the bigger man, whose day has not gone well, will acknowledge it, shake hands and move on, try to improve next time
The mark of a man, is to stand up when things are not going well
Here endeth the lesson!!

I hope nobody is kidding themselves at the club.
That was pure luck, and a referee decision went our way which doesn't happen.
We have got to be better.
Big 3 pts to gain, but all for nothing unless we get something at forest.
Can't believe how bad the team perform with Hendrick in it, and I do put it down to him unbalancing it.
Dozzell and Amos should get more game time

Much better second half , we didn't create much but will take an ugly win.
Looked a lot better with Willock on the pitch , he made runs and held the ball up well allowing the rest of the team to push up.
Is it a coincidence that when Chair was away at AFCON our results were a lot better and Willock especially was superb and since Chair has been straight back in the side , we have been rubbish .
Got to start Willock at Forest and leave Chair on the bench.

Frustrating that MW continually picks a team that very few agree with and even more frustrating to see us resorting to hoofing the ball forwards for large periods.
Luton are the weakest of our play off rivals imo and we won all 3 points but that was the ugliest win of the season.

Oh, I'll be castigated for this view but I thought ref was very good. There were at least 100 clashes, tangles, tumbles that an ass like Mike Dean would have blown up for but this guy just shrugged them off - he seemed to view them as six of one, half-a-dozen of the other. First ref I've seen for ages that seems to know that just cos a player falls over, it doesn't mean its a foul.
Also, he remained completely calm and impassive despite the histrionics of that vile spitting Welsh ponce on the sidelines for 2hrs. His, booking of Chair was common-sense too. Overall, he avoided playing up for the cameras, let the game flow and contributed to a decent spectacle for paying fans and TV viewers.

It was a good effort today, and it's great being 4th with 10 to play, but it's going to be tough with the games we have left to play, we are going to need maximum effort and a degree of luck with other results maybe giving us a hand to get where we hope to be come the end of the season
