Well, here we go again, I'm there today, and I hope I see a definate improvement on recent games, MW says he has players back in the squad and has options, Dykes may make it, everything has to be better in all departments, let's hope we get back on track

3-1 win. Cardiff are bang average. Pick the right team and we win this all day. Picking willock up front with Chair is a no goer from now. We should be able to choose one from dykes, gray or Austin. Getting the balance right in midfield is the biggest problem. Start hendrick with amos and Sam. Start moses and maccallum. Albert off the bench. Back 3 Pick themselves without dion.

I'm most interested in the midfield starters today.
Praying MW ignores his normal "favorites" and goes with Hendrick and Amos in the middle of the pitch -- Stefan's slow play, backward-almost-always passing, and increasingly errant distribution has become a must-fix-now problem. Explains in part our inability to quickly move the ball from the back line to the front.

We don't do well in " must wins". It's best not to ascribe too much importance to a single game. I tend to view games as bunches of 3/4 games.
We have 4 games in March. We probably need to win them all to maintain an auto promotion push and probably need a minimum of 5 points to maintain a top 6 push. I struggle to see us beating a well drilled physical Cardiff playing in the image of their manager. I'm predicting a draw with under 2.5 goals in the game.
