Don’t think we can approach this game without a striker, can’t invite a team like this on to us, they were pretty unlucky the other night loads of chances ,this team hasn’t scored for 5 games, but I’m sure we’ll rectify that for them, as we’re not great at keeping clean sheets, have to be positive, and show some urgency getting the ball forward quickly. That’s what Sheff Utd did, want Willcocks running at people not playing with his back to goal
I would leave Hendrick I thought he was excellent the other night, deserves his starting place
Yes. I think Hendrick needs game-time to really get in the swing of things. I don't think having him in and out all the time will do him or us any good. Saw enough midweek to think he could become a big factor in the run-in. He wasn't featuring much for Newcastle so he must have bags of gas in the tank, there's no need to be conserving his energy at this point. He should deffo start tomorrow.

Totally agree mate, he is very experienced and like you said should be fresh and raring to go, he's definitely got something about him that could be a big asset to us
This is a huge game. We need everyone to turn up today. It's will show where we are. I actually don't consider us as a top 6 side and I think we will tale off but this game today will give me an insight on where we are at.

Surely we have as much right to think about finishing 6th as Blackburn, Coventry, Luton and Huddersfield? I'm not convinced that we are hugely behind likes of Boro and Forest either plus we have points in the bag. Ultimately, we are in the hunt with many teams that are equally as capable of tailing off as we are.
Obviously today is massive... 3pts would be a huge statement but just staying above Rovers would be a reasonable outcome.

strange thing to say - we are a top 6 side and have proved it by being in the top 6 most of the season...we are there on merit
Start believing!
We have as much right to be there as any off the other teams - we have been in a rough patch but every team bar Fulham will go through one or 2
i get the pessimistic attitude of some on here given our recent history but what ever happens this season it has been the most entertaining since the warnock promotion season.
Hendrick will get better with game time so maybe leave him.
Amos clearly has the potential to score goals at this level, so I would have him instead of SJ.
I am 50/50 on Dykes vs Willock up front. No Dykes means we are weaker in the air, but he has not been holding the ball up well, and that is a real strength of Willock, who will also win more free kicks.
But this is where our bench can be an advantage. I don’t think it’s a straight choice because we can swap things round depending on who is tiring and all are likely to come on the pitch.
Bringing fresh legs on after 60 mins to keep the back four occupied and on the back foot.
