Ok I suppose it's time to kick this one off, but so much has already been said, hard to know what to add, so it's not a season defining game, we agree on that, generally, but it's a very important game in the grand scheme of things, a win would put a spring in the step again with Blackburn coming next, we all know that things need to change, but will we have the personnel available to do anything different and will Mr Warburton take the blinkers off, let's hope something positive happens.
pre match he seems to be bigging up the opposition again, or is it putting the excuses in place beforehand??
Hard to be overly optimistic at the moment, but IF we get back on it, I think we have more than enough to win

I don't want to be negative but I think the damage is already done, we got 1 point from 3 very winable matches (Boro was a fairly good point) and we have a tough run coming up, the last 3 matches should have given us a buffer, now we are in a very vulnerable position with regard to the play offs, I suppose glass half full says teams below us would swap places if they could but Sheff Utd for example are playing much better than us and won't be below us for long if we carry on as we have been. I hope I'm wrong.

I know it's almost impossible to be optimistic at the moment, but the hope is that we can only improve on what has gone on recently, just something to get the juices flowing again, for team and fans alike, so why not this game? Certainly , we shouldn't be that worried about playing Blackpool, but then that could of been said about, Barnsley and Millwall I know, but slumps do tend to end at some point, so let's hope it's tomorrow night.

Will MW change some selections and tactical formation (responsible for the way we have slow-walked the past few games), or will he stick to his guns?

His history suggests the latter, which is why our season has gone from playoff-optimistic to playoff-desperate in a matter of a few weeks.

This remains MW's blind spot (every coach has at least one; this is MW's) and has given rise to fans' more openly voicing their own remedies.

Blackpool may not seem to be as big a game on paper as Blackburn, but rest assured a bad result here and our locker room will stop feeling like an oasis of unity.

Totally agree mate, if we don't stop the rot asap, then it could be the end of everything, but we are still in the mix, somehow, and we can play football when everything clicks, that's for sure, but things need to click sooner rather later

The spirit I'm looking for is from the play final v Derby, completely out played throughout the game, down to 10 men, then Bobby Zamora, god bless him, used the only functional part of his body, left leg , below the knee, to hammer the ball in!! I was there that day, around me there wasn't a dry eye at the final whistle, this is what we need, not necessarily a perfect performance, but a little bit of luck, a little spark that can give us some belief again

We have a very good record against Blackpool, Let’s hope it continues.

Calm heads, cohesion, and a will to win will get us the 3 points.

Watched Boro tonight and 2nd half they committed so many men forward and used the ball with real attacking purpose. Hope to something similar tonight, need a win badly.

You know that won't happen mate, it's happened once v Reading and it was our best game of the year, but it seems to have gone unnoticed by MW and the players!!

Reading were shocking though, absolutely terrible. Our best performance of the season was vs Derby I think, they were having a good crack at as and nearly made it stick, we just played far better as a team. Reading was a turkey shoot we could've had any score we wanted.
