I didnt watch the game but I guess it was good to see that we took off two attacking players for two defensive midfielders

Seems good game management compared to still attacking unnecessarily and getting caught

Dozzell starting to show promise. Poor game Cardiff are dire to watch and stuff watching that week in week out

Good defensive display in the second half but stand out for me was the Andy Sinton comment “I don’t understand why we get caught on the break 5 mins after half time and a goal up”

Another decent game for Dozzell and a proper strikers finish from Gray.

I am happy for the travelling support to see an away win, it's been a while, good on the team and manager acknowledging those who travelled!

Great result, poor game.
Think we deserved it overall but rode our luck a bit during the late flurry of Cardiff corners, thankfully this time we didn't concede, it's still needing work though as we shouldn't really need to hang on in injury time against a very poor Cardiff team.
I think they may go down.

I actually took the opposite view. MW seems to have a habit recently of taking off forwards and replacing them with defenders/midfielders towards the end of the game. That sends the message that we are just going to defend for the rest of the game and gives us fewer options to get out of our own half. Could be part of the reason that we end up with our backs to the wall at the end of every game.

Seems I'm not keeping up with things as closely as I thought. It was my assumption we've been conceding because of some sort of gung hoe attacking approach.

I need to get out of the house and see some live games me thinks.

We wont be 5th of anything like it if we play like that between this and the end of the season. We won against a dreadful Cardiff team but so nearly blew it again.

Just what the doctor ordered. Back to back away defeats at Posh and Bluebirds bookmarking a drab home draw with Forest really would have been pathetic. Can't say I saw tonight coming and it don't sound massively convincing but doesn't matter, they held out for full 90 minutes. If we can avoid defeat at Blackpool it will represent an encouraging week.
