They’ve been awful but staged a spirited fight back from 3 0 down at Stoke Saturday to get a draw which shows they are still playing for their manager , their tails will be up from that which makes it more difficult for us .

There is often a bounce after teams sack a manager (before later going back to roughly the pattern of results they were achieving with the previous manager). As such I was hoping McCarthy survived until we faced them, but of course being Rangers that didn't happen. They were absolutely terrible, but fear they will take confidence from their last result and the manager going and give us a tough game.

What, when it was 3pm on Saturday? To be honest, the longer Cardiff's losing streak went on the more ominous this fixture started looking. About 2 weeks ago I started thinking fear not my Welsh muckers, the benevolent Queens Park Rangers will soon be in town carrying gifts and you're dreadful run will be ended. The sacking of MM has just made things worse I reckon and I'm expecting us to get battered now.
I'll cross me fingers and hope for a point but I'm not holding my breath.
