The bottom three all have a better defensive record than us - a team with pretensions of promotion. Total joke.

We seem to give up breakaways every game. Either our back three are too slow collectively, or we are formationally deficient.
Part of this is we don't have an enforcer on the back line -- Jordy currently better at that than Dunne, but still think we lack pace.
Got to fix this.
We have plenty of offensive weapons -- Dykes and Chair and Willock are standouts, Albert normally too -- but our midfield doesn't control the middle of the pitch, which explains why we play that ticky tack back and forth crap on the back line far too often in far too many games.
We have a playoff calibre team not yet consistently playing like one.

I think the 3 CB's was working very well last season, our wingback play is hurting us now which is putting the CB's under more pressure which they are not dealing with well at all! I wasn't in favour of going to a back 4 but the more I see of this mess, the more I think we may not have a choice!@gatorTFC

This squad lacks full backs and it’s hurting us Macullum woeful Austin ain’t fit Why ain’t willock playing Stefan garbage again and Dom ball not good enough Posh out moved us midfield didn’t make a tackle Basics need to be done better and a few players need a reality check

Does the manager have the balls to drop certain players if they aren't performing? I'm sure all fans are in agreement that our 2 most senior and prob best paid, stef and Charlie have been well below the levels that we expect and need them to be. Are they considered undroppable?
Putting austin on the bench isn't dropping him imo. Stef just looks completely unfit and seems to be playing at 50%. In this league it is impossible to carry players every week. Dickie looks like he's in the same bracket.
We have a squad and if it means lads playing out of their natural position but getting a start because the regular isn't doing the job then I'm okay with it. It sends out a bad message if some senior players are allowed to cut corners and not pull their weight in training and on matchday. Maybe a couple of games sat watching in the stands might give them a kick up the r's!!
The shirt has to be earned not taken for granted.

The number of times dykes held the line asking for a thru ball , only for chair or steff to play it sideways or backwards . Possession in our half doesn't win us games all it does is let Peterborough get back in to there shape . Win the ball and break quickly.like they did . Charlie getting picked on past glories has to stop .

Austin is an odd one. I certainly wouldn't judge him just on today's game but I do feel that the manager at least got one part right. Not playing Charlie as a lone striker. I do think that's a dreadful result and hence why my Sunderland thread we need to be realistic and focus on the League cup. The Sunderland game was always going to be huge. I don't think we have a squad to rest willock. The defence is starved of any pace and we were fortune to loan walker in our last promotion season. I don't think dunne is the answer I'd like to see that centre half with pace come in Jan.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
