Takeaways:

(1) Need a CB willing to get tough with a tough forward - thought that would be Jordy, but not on today’s performance
(2) Love Charlie, but he’s suddenly looking old and unable to do much but wait for a pass inside the box. And if we need immediate offense in a second half where we trail, my first call would be for Adomah, not Gray.
(3) Johansen’s chumminess with Fulham players was as off-putting as his lackadaisical play — first time QPR fans deserve to be upset with him
(4) Dykes and Willock are now the offense more than Chair
(5) All admire Dom Ball’s hustle, but we need a midfielder with more skill. Field coming back will help.

This system we are playing does not suit us. It was all good when we took opponents by surprise, however, all teams know how we play and it is easy to see that most of them pressure very high to make us make mistakes. Our defenders are slow to react and we need to change our tactics to start making inwards. This was one of our worst performances.

I think the system was fine when we had a healthy Wallace and when Kane and or Kakay were doing the business last season, our current wingbacks are playing poorly and the 3 CB's are making uncharacteristic errors! I might add that Dieng has not been as good as in the past as well, all contributing to more goals conceded!

Seems to always be when we play our rivals they seem to understand what passion is required, which we always lack in games like this.

I think the system was fine when we had a healthy Wallace and when Kane and or Kakay were doing the business last season, our current wingbacks are playing poorly and the 3 CB's are making uncharacteristically errors!

We spent so much time passing the ball around in our half that one way or the other, we will lose possession and our defence will end up open and a chance against created. That's why it is so common to watch our defenders running back without knowing where the opponents are!

We just weren't good enough , no pace or spark In the middle . Chair needs to play further up the pitch and stop dropping so deep . We keep knocking it across our defensive line then back to the keeper . Allows Fulham to play further up the pitch and close us down . Moses under pressure is a mistake waiting to happen. Stefan just doesn't work hard enough , played that position myself and u have to be super fit , he just strolls thru games . We lack a ball winner in there I like dom ball but his touch is rubbish and has no pace or recovery . Gray and austin looked past their best today

Yeah teams have worked out that we can't cope against the high press. Our defenders kept passing it back to Deng rather than turning and trying to move forward with the ball quickly. Deng was constantly hurried into a clearance and the ball was back in our 18 yard box 30 seconds later.

I hate this sideways passing it's too dangerous. I can't see the problem with just getting it straight up to the midfield or forwards .
keeper's becoming a disappointment as we'll. always thought we should never have sold smithies.

I don’t understand why Warburton feels the need to go toe to toe with the best teams in this league away from home . We’ve done it at Bournemouth, wba and Fulham and lost all 3 . He needs to humble himself and give our back 3 a bit more protection in these games , we have been overrun in all 3 games .

I remember Brentford fans saying when Warburton arrived that his teams are great going forward but always desperately weak defensively. He just seems to have a touch of the Kevin Keagans - all out attack. I don't think its a promotion winning formula...

It’s baffling, ,not only are the back 3 not getting protection, we are also not getting the best out of johansen .I know Field is a big factor in this but we have Amos and Dozzell that can sit in and dog it out if needed.
