Our major problem is how to stop conceding so many goals. I think it's a tactical matter. With three at the back and the attacking philosophy that we have, the system makes us very vulnerable. I think we should revert to a back four. Moses, Dunne, De Wijs andBarbet. In front of them as defensive midfielders ... Dickie and Ball, while Johannsen plays further up between Chair and Willock. The striker is anybody's guess!

I couldn’t disagree more , we have been great to watch for nearly a year now and our record stands up against the best .We have been making to many individual defensive errors over the last month , that’s not a system problem it’s an individual one .

So you would play 3 left footed CBs and a dodgy RB with Barbet, Dickie and Johansen out of position. We have spent our limited resources to fit a 3-5-3 system.

Dunne is right-footed, no? As for Barbet, it's either him or Maccallum. Dickie will play defensive midfielder as he is the best tackler we've had and can protect our defence together with Ball and find more time to make his runs. Stefan will play in midfield, more advanced in his role. We do play attractive football, however, we concede too many goals because we are too attack-minded. Many goals we suffered came when we were on the offensive and got caught out. Individual errors occur because we never defend as a unit.

I agree and with defensive cover Johansen would be free to make more of his telling and creative passes for the attacking players.

Individual errors often occur when the players are left outnumbered or caught out of position. We do play some wonderful attacking football at times, but often it is gung ho stuff i.e. against Preston, Dickie went on the attack at 3-2 and lost possession which could have led to an equaliser. That needs to be cut out, along with having both wingbacks attacking at the same time without defensive cover.

Hopefully we will do better in this live game on Sky than we normally do. A draw would be more than welcome.

This has been the longest week waiting for football to return. International just bore me especially when we are playing teams like Andorra. Anyway looking forward to tomorrow however early kick offs can really ruin my weekend especially if we get beat on sky against these boys. I have a feeling he might leave Chair out as he only got back to training today which would be a massive loss and no Gray by the sounds of it. They aren’t on the best of form but have a very strong squad. If we are going to go toe to toe and give them a challenge this is going to be the best opportunity in a long while. I just hope we don’t have to take a couple of games to get going again like what happened after the last international break.

?I can't recall ever winning there. I can barely remember beating them ever. Have we won any of last say, 20 games against them? I reckon we've got a better record against CFC than FFC this century.

I admire your optimism but I can't see it myself. I'd seriously think about "lumping" too..... its 4/1 for a reason.

I'm sure we'll give a good account of ourselves but I can't see our defence keeping them out for 90 minutes and we'll probably need to score 3 or 4 to win.

We won 2 1 there about 5 years ago but Fulham missed 2 penalties that day , otherwise your right we have a shocking record there . I’ve seen us win more times at Chelsea and Arsenal.

In the previous few seasons we beat the better teams but lost to the lesser teams,so far this season we have been doing the opposite ,hopefully the trend changes tomorrow .
I do fear a narrow defeat like the Bournemouth and WBA games

In the 70’s, I have great memories of beating them at their place a couple of times, with thousands of R’s on both the Hammersmith and Putney terraces, they were like home games.

To me, they have always been the 3rd team in the borough, especially fan wise, we use to do to them what Chelsea did to us, we took their ground over.

A few years later, Fulham were playing in front of 4 or 5 thousand at Craven Cottage in the third division while Stanley Bowles and co were ripping the first division to shreds.
