Calvin-lewin and Pickford were out injured at weekend , so hopefully still . They went strong last time out as they're not going to win the league so maybe they want a cup. As long as we give it a go I'll be happy , dykes and gray up front neither burned to much energy on Saturday

I was quite impressed with Gray’s performance against Bristol,just need somebody like Dozzell to supply the right service for the type of runs he makes.

Be our reserves against their reserves, anything could happen but you'd have to assume they'd have more depth of quality in the lower reaches of their squad than we do. Personally, I feel we should field our best available XI and give EFC a stiff game.
I think we have several big players easily capable of playing Saturday/Tuesday/Friday - even our "fragile" players like Jordy, Charlie and Albert could surely be useful subs.
Anyway, impossible to predict outcome at this juncture - we need to see the starting X!s.

I think Everton will name a strong team and feel we should do the same. Rest the likes of Austin, De Wijs and Johansen on the bench, but otherwise play our best available team. We could win the game and get another decent pay out for the next round.

Decent payout? This comp isnt worth diddly......

From the available seats to buy on the ticketing site doubt there'll be 9,000 there at £25 a ticket. The winners of the comp last year got £100k in prize money. It isnt worth the injury risks.

With opening the stadium and security costs we'll probably lose money in the game tomorrow.

We will not want to tire players or get injuries so I expect what would be classed as important players rested especially with big game on Friday.. After all for us its a bonus match.

Johansen is not expected to be involved in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Everton.

“It’s been three games in a week now and I haven’t had that for a while,” Johansen said on West London Sport’s YouTube channel.

“But it’s no problem. I’m fine to go.”

Luke Amos is being lined up for a return to first-team action after his long-term knee injury, while defender Jimmy Dunne is among the fringe players also likely to feature.

League is far more important and with a game on Friday night, I feel we have no option but to rest players, especially after playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday last week.

Not ideal but don't see the point in risking main players. Dickie definitely needs a rest as does Barbet. If I had to play one of the usual 3 defenders, it would be Jordy, although he needs to be looked after, which is why I've dropped Ball into the defence after he was rested for most of the Bristol City game. Dunne needs minutes. Kakay is obviously 2nd choice in MW's eyes, so needs to play tonight. McCallum has started his Rangers season very well and arguably is our best option at LB/LWB but with Wallace injured, Sam has to play. Shouldn't be a problem as he missed the early part of the season.

The midfield all need minutes as does Thomas. Johansen, Chair and Willock all need to be looked after and are vital players in the league.

I've got a feeling Charlie has dropped down the pecking order after the arrival of Gray and will be used more as a sub this season. I think Gray will start at WBA to stretch their defence and I thought him and Dykes looked alright against Bristol City. Charlie missed Bournemouth and only played the last 20 against Bristol City, so I'd expect him to start tonight and play the first hour or so.

My thoughts to, give some player's some game Time, no point risking anyone but you never know we could nick it but very possibly get rolled over, no pressure game, what happens happens.
