We had 22 shots on goal but only 4 on target,Austin had one opportunity,can’t knock him if he’s getting no service.

Think we look a little predictable at times but Adomah provides quality crosses into the box when introduced.

Maybe we are missing the runs of Wallace.

You are right about Wallace - read some stat about the number of wins we have with/ without him and the difference is striking

That felt a bit like the 2 2 draw at Derby under Warnock promotion season , we weren’t settling for the draw either .

Austin doesn’t offer enough in behind compared to Dykes / Grey , it’s not about chances . He will prove his worth throughout the season but not as a one up top striker from the start .

Charlie can barely run I agree but would Gray be able to get behind defences with our slow build up play.We played some lovely one touch passing in the friendlies in pre season but we haven’t done that in the league so far.

Im just glad we got different options now.

Sam did ok today at LWB but he kept checking inside and failed to get many crosses in,Wallace has been a stand out player in a lot of games when played.

Agree , we definitely needed that extra striker in Gray , we now have great options, getting a bit concerned about the amount of goals we are conceding though , saying that Swift is a class act in this league I’m surprised they have kept hold of him .

One gripe for me , Austin can not be your lone striker to start , it’s either Dykes or Gray . Austin is fine in a 2 or as an impact sub , I’d have taken a point today so pleased in the end .

I'm not deny swift is a class act and he relates very much to his name but I don't care that most fans think that dickie is the best defender in the league, what concerns me is the lack of pace in what most thought was a sound defence. When we come up against pace we will struggle. Loaning walker when we got promoted was massive, he dealt with Bellamy for Cardiff with ease we don't have that anymore so our defence can definitely be got out and that will make consistency extremely difficult

In that respect, Jimmy Dunne is the alternative.

Good point about pace , the 3 at the back has. It’s good and bad points , the space is always behind your wingbacks and Dickie gets dragged into those areas at times . Saying that Reading have spent serious money over the last few years and that Puscas up top for them is no mug .

MW has changed from 3 C/Backs to 2 during games this season,mainly when the team were trailing just like today.

It would be interesting to see him start a game with a flat back 4 with 2 wingers and 2 strikers as agree with Stainrod and WeAre we looked poor defensively today.

Went along only because a Reading mate got me and another rangers friend into their stand at the Reading end.

Still could hear the rangers fans above the home support.

But we both said never again , am I going watch game in opposition stands.

Quite strange feeling when QPR scored and all around went completely silent.

Bruised my mates right knee but hitting it very hard though when last minute equaliser went in !!!!

I dont think Dickie would win a five stride sprint against Austin!
