In terms of team news, Jordy de Wijs will miss the visit of the League One U’s after injuring his ankle versus Barnsley, while Lee Wallace (hamstring) remains sidelined.
“I’m not going to lie, we’re walking wounded at the moment!” Warburton said. “Jordy de Wijs won’t be available and Lee Wallace is out, too. We’ve got a few out. Hopefully Jordy will be ready for Coventry on Saturday.
“We’ve got to keep tabs on the boys and won’t really know the team until Tuesday morning.
“The type of travelling we’ve done over the last week can really challenge the squad, which is tight anyway.
“But we’ll put a team out to go and win the game. Oxford will want to win to progress to the next round and we do, too.”
Warburton continued: “They’re a team who like to play good football and have a nice blend of youth and experience.
“They’ll pose a threat and can hurt teams when given the time and space. We have to deny them of it.
“But we’re always confident of winning games. The players I’ll put out for the game wouldn’t be in the squad unless they were good enough. Plain and simple.”

Sounds like starts for thomas, dozzell and duke-mckenna. Will be Dunne, barbet and 1 other. Kakay and maybe adomah to start again? Kelman alongside dykes if he can do 55/60 mins. Prob see willock off the bench. Ball will start. Not sure who else we can use. Ody alfa? Maybe throw sinclair armstrong on for 20 mins?? Our under 23's aren't great especially upfront. Not sure who else we can use?

What's going on with ramkilde? If he's fit and still can't get into the squad for tonight then it tells us that he can't be up to much. I know he's been injured a bit but he's 23 years old so how long do you wait? There must be lads just as good as him and the same age who are playing week in week out in leagues 1 and 2. Strange decision to keep him if he can't get any gametime

“That’s why when we were negotiating one of the sticking points was the percentage of the sell-on clause, because we believe the kid has got that potential.
“I’ve got friends of mine who watch him week-in, week-out and they always tell me he’s been outstanding.
“People will always talk about flaws, but we all have flaws unless you’re Virgil Van Dijk at the top level.

I hope he does start. I just worship scandanavian players. Brentford have done pretty well going that route and I hope he's the 1st of many moreI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
